ParticipantOkay so I need to tell you all about Reveal cat food because I’m honestly blown away and nobody seems to be talking about this brand enough!!
I stumbled across it at my local pet boutique last month – you know, one of those fancy independent stores that carries all the premium stuff? The owner recommended it and I was like “ehh another expensive cat food” but she convinced me to try just one can.
You guys… MY CAT WENT CRAZY FOR IT! π±
So here’s the deal – Reveal is all about natural broths and like actual REAL pieces of meat or fish floating in there. It’s not that weird jelly stuff or thick gravy – it’s literally like a light soup with chunks of protein. The ingredient list is SO clean it’s basically just meat/fish, broth, and some vitamins. That’s IT!
My girl Luna (she’s a 5-year-old tuxedo princess πΈπ±) usually drinks barely any water which worries me, but with Reveal she’s getting tons of moisture from her food! I can literally hear her slurping up that broth like it’s the best thing ever lol.
The cans are these cute little portions (1.4oz) which are PERFECT for meal toppers or treats. I’ve been using them to jazz up her regular kibble and she acts like it’s Christmas every single day!
Has anyone else discovered this brand?? What flavors does your kitty love? I’m obsessed with the tuna fillet one but wanna try more! Tell me I’m not the only one going crazy over Reveal! π

ParticipantYESSSSS REVEAL IS AMAZING!! π I found it about 8 months ago and it’s been a total game-changer for my picky eater! My boy Simba turns his nose up at EVERYTHING but he absolutely devours the Reveal chicken breast in broth. The pieces are literally human-grade quality like I could eat it myself (not that I would but ya know lol π). His hydration has improved SO much since we started using it. Plus his coat is super shiny now. The only “problem” is he’s become a total snob about other cat foods now haha! Worth every penny though! π°β¨

ParticipantHmm, I had a different experience unfortunately π Bought the variety pack with chicken, tuna, and salmon thinking my cat would love at least one flavor. She licked the broth and completely ignored the actual meat chunks! Just left them sitting in the bowl looking all sad lol.
I think maybe the texture was too firm for her? She’s used to pate-style foods that are super smooth. Ended up giving the rest to my friend whose cat loved them! So I guess it just depends on your cat’s preferences. The quality looked really good though, just not right for my particular princess! ππ±

ParticipantOMG THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!! π I’ve been walking past Reveal at my pet store for MONTHS and always wondered if it was worth the price! The cans are so small and kinda expensive per ounce so I kept hesitating.
But after reading your review I’m totally gonna try it! My cat also doesn’t drink enough water and my vet keeps telling me to find ways to increase his hydration. This sounds perfect! Crossing my fingers he likes it! Which flavor should I try first?? Give me recommendations! π€π

ParticipantMY REVEAL TIMELINE – July 2025 to October 2025!! ππ±
Okay so let me break down my entire Reveal journey because it’s been SUCH a positive experience!
July (Weeks 1-2): Discovered Reveal at a local boutique pet store. Bought three cans of the tuna fillet flavor to test. My cat Oliver went INSANE for it! Like legit meowing and dancing around my feet while I opened the can. He slurped up every drop of that broth!
July (Weeks 3-4): Bought a whole case online (way cheaper that way btw!). Started using it as a dinner topper on his dry food. His regular kibble consumption actually went UP because he was so excited to eat!
August: Branched out and tried the chicken breast and mackerel flavors. Chicken was a HIT, mackerel was just okay for him. Noticed he was visiting his water bowl less because he was getting so much moisture from the Reveal!
September: His annual vet checkup! The vet commented on how great his hydration levels were and how shiny his coat looked! She asked what I’d been feeding him and I told her about Reveal. She’d never heard of it but looked it up right there and said the ingredients were “impressively clean”!
October (Current): Four months in and Oliver literally does a happy dance when he sees me grab a Reveal can! His favorite rotation is tuna, chicken, and sometimes the shrimp as a special treat. I’m spending about $45/month using one can per day as a topper, but honestly his health improvements are worth WAY more than that!
Pro tip: Buy in bulk online to save money!! The individual cans are expensive but cases are much more reasonable! ππ

ParticipantHi friends! Feline nutritionist here! π©ββοΈ I absolutely LOVE Reveal from a professional standpoint! The moisture content is fantastic (usually around 85-90%), the ingredient lists are incredibly simple and transparent, and the protein quality is top-notch. What really impresses me is what they DON’T include no thickeners, no artificial anything, no mystery ingredients. Just real food! The small portion sizes are actually PERFECT for meal toppers or rotation feeding.
However, if you’re feeding it as a complete meal, make sure your cat is getting enough calories throughout the day since these are quite light! Great for hydration, great for picky eaters, great for variety! Two thumbs up! ππβ¨

ParticipantLet’s talk PRICES because I KNOW everyone wants to know! π΅
Reveal 1.4oz cans: About $1.80-$2.40 per can (yeah, I know! π ) Weruva 2.8oz cans: Around $2.50-$3.00 per can Fancy Feast 3oz cans: Like $0.75-$1.00 per can Tiki Cat 2.8oz cans: About $2.20-$2.80 per can Sheba Perfect Portions: Around $0.65-$0.85 per tray
So YES, Reveal is definitely on the pricey side per ounce! BUT here’s how I justify it – I use them as TOPPERS, not full meals! One little can goes over his regular food and makes him super excited to eat. If I tried to use them as complete meals it would cost a fortune lol. As toppers though? Totally manageable! Plus the quality is unmatched! Sometimes you gotta splurge on your baby! πΎπ

ParticipantMY SENIOR CAT LOVES REVEAL!! π§‘π΄π± My old man Whiskers is 16 years old and has been losing interest in food lately which was really worrying me. His teeth aren’t great anymore and he was struggling with harder foods. I started giving him Reveal and you guys… it’s like he’s a young cat again!
The soft meat pieces are easy for him to eat, and he LOVES the broth! He laps it up like crazy! He’s actually gained a little bit of healthy weight back and seems so much happier at mealtime. If you have a senior kitty who’s struggling with eating, PLEASE try Reveal! It might just be the solution you need! It’s been such a blessing for us! ππ

ParticipantOkay can we talk about how GORGEOUS these cans look?? π¨ Like I know it sounds silly but the packaging is so pretty and natural-looking! The labels have these beautiful images and the whole vibe is very premium and clean. Makes me feel fancy having them in my pantry lol!
Plus you can actually see through the can top to peek at the food before opening which I think is really cool! It’s like they’re saying “we have nothing to hide!” I appreciate that transparency SO much! The attention to detail just makes me trust the brand more, ya know? πβ¨

ParticipantREVEAL VS FANCY FEAST – Honest comparison from someone who’s used BOTH! π€
Okay so I used to be a die-hard Fancy Feast person (the broths line specifically) but then I discovered Reveal and here’s the tea:
Reveal wins for:
WAY cleaner ingredients (literally just meat + broth!)
Bigger, more recognizable meat pieces
No weird thickeners or gums
The broth tastes more natural (yes I tasted it, don’t judge me π)
Better for cats with sensitivitiesFancy Feast wins for
SO much cheaper (like seriously, way cheaper!)
Available EVERYWHERE (every grocery store has it)
More flavor options
Bigger portions per containerMy honest take: If budget isn’t a huge concern, Reveal is definitely the better quality product. But if you’re on a tight budget, Fancy Feast broths are still pretty decent! I personally do Reveal for dinner (special meal!) and regular food for breakfast to balance cost and quality. Both my cats are happy and healthy! Do what works for YOUR situation! ππΎ

ParticipantHYDRATION HACK ALERT!! π§ So my vet told me cats don’t drink enough water naturally because they’re desert animals (fun fact!). This can lead to kidney issues and urinary problems as they age. I’ve been mixing the Reveal broth with extra water and serving it in a shallow dish and my cats go CRAZY for it! They’re drinking way more than they ever did from their water bowl! I basically make them a little “cat soup” and they think it’s the best treat ever! Such an easy way to boost hydration! Plus on hot days I freeze the broth into little ice cubes for a refreshing snack! Try it!! π§π±

ParticipantMULTI-CAT HOUSEHOLD CHECK-IN! π π±π±π± I have three cats and honestly Reveal has been PERFECT for us! Each cat gets their own little can so there’s no fighting or food stealing (which was a constant problem before!). The small portions mean everyone gets fresh food and nothing goes to waste.
My oldest cat loves the tuna, my middle one is obsessed with chicken, and my youngest goes crazy for the mackerel! It’s actually made mealtime so much more peaceful in our house lol. Yes it’s more expensive feeding three cats, but I budget about $80/month for Reveal as their dinner topper and it’s SO worth it for the peace and happiness! ππ

ParticipantWord of warning friends!! β οΈ These cans are SMALL so make sure you’re reading the ounces before you buy! I made the mistake of thinking they were regular sized cans and was shocked when I opened the package lol. They’re 1.4oz which is perfect for toppers but NOT enough for a full meal for most cats! I learned this the hard way when my cat finished his can in like 30 seconds and looked at me like “um… where’s the rest??” π Just manage your expectations! They’re meant to be supplements or toppers, not complete meals (unless you’re feeding like 3-4 cans per day which would get crazy expensive!). Just a heads up! π

ParticipantCan I just say the FLAVOR VARIETY is amazing?? ππ They have tuna, chicken, mackerel, salmon, shrimp, and even some mixed flavors! My cat never gets bored because I rotate through different proteins every few days. Variety is so important for cats (and humans too right? lol). Her favorite is definitely the tuna fillet but she also goes nuts for the chicken breast.
The mackerel is hit or miss depending on her mood. I love that I can keep her interested and excited about mealtime! A happy eater is a healthy eater! Plus the different proteins mean different nutrients which is great for overall health! πβ¨

ParticipantPICKY EATER SUCCESS STORY!! π You guys, my cat is THE most difficult eater in the entire world. I’m not even exaggerating. She’s rejected literally hundreds of dollars worth of premium foods over the years. It’s been SO frustrating! But Reveal?? She LOVES it!! The chicken breast flavor specifically has been a miracle! I think it’s because the pieces are so pure and simple – just real chicken with no weird additives or strong smells.
The light broth is perfect too, not too thick or goopy. If your cat is a picky nightmare like mine, PLEASE give Reveal a try! It might just be the answer to your prayers! We’ve been using it for 5 months now with zero rejections! I finally found THE ONE!! ππ
