Just discovered Tiny Tiger at Grocery Outlet for crazy cheap prices! Like $0.50 per can cheap!

Seems too good to be true? Ingredients look decent but I’m skeptical. Anyone actually use this brand? Is it quality or just cheap junk?

My wallet would love it but not if it’s bad for my cats!

    Thoughts? 🤔

TINY TIGER IS AMAZING FOR THE PRICE!! 🙌 I’ve been using it for over a year and my cats are healthy and happy! It’s made by the same company that makes Fancy Feast (Purina) so the quality control is solid! The ingredient lists are actually pretty clean real meat first, no weird by-products.

My cats love the pate flavors especially! For $0.50-$0.70 per can, you literally cannot beat it! My cats’ coats are shiny, they have good energy, and vet checkups are always great! Don’t let the low price fool you it’s genuinely good food. 💚✨

My cats wouldn’t eat it 😕 I bought like 20 cans because the price was so good, but both my cats sniffed and walked away. They’re super picky though, so it’s probably just them! My neighbor’s cats eat it happily! Quality looked fine, just didn’t appeal to my particular divas lol! 🐱

Pet nutrition info here! 👩‍⚕️ Tiny Tiger is manufactured by Nestlé Purina (same as Fancy Feast, Friskies). It meets AAFCO standards for complete and balanced nutrition! The formulas are actually quite similar to Fancy Feast but priced lower for discount retailers. Quality control from a major manufacturer, decent ingredients, appropriate nutrition levels. For healthy adult cats without special needs, it’s a perfectly acceptable option! Don’t feel bad about feeding budget food if it’s well-formulated! 💙✨

We’ve fed probably 30+ cats this food over the past year with zero health issues! Kittens, adults, seniors everyone does well! For rescues operating on tight budgets, Tiny Tiger is a GODSEND! We can feed more cats with limited funds! 🐾💕

Found it at Dollar General too!! 🎯 Not just Grocery Outlet! Also seen it at Big Lots and some smaller discount chains! If you have discount stores near you, check there! Usually stocked near the pet section! Sometimes they have sales making it even cheaper (like $0.45/can)! Stock up when you find it! 💙✨

INGREDIENT CHECK I compared labels! 📋 Tiny Tiger chicken pate lists: Chicken, chicken broth, liver, meat by-products, minerals, vitamins. Fancy Feast similar formula lists: Poultry, poultry broth, liver, meat by-products, minerals, vitamins. They’re ALMOST IDENTICAL! The main protein sources are the same! Makes sense since same manufacturer! You’re basically paying less for the same formula! 💪💚

TINY TIGER VS FANCY FEAST (sister brands!):

Both made by Purina, very similar formulas:

    Tiny Tiger wins for:

    WAY cheaper price!
    Same quality ingredients
    Better value for money
    Perfect for multi-cat homes

    Fancy Feast wins for:

    More flavor varieties available
    Easier to find (sold everywhere)
    Fancier packaging lol
    More specialty formulas

Honest verdict: They’re basically the same food! Tiny Tiger is Fancy Feast for discount stores! If you can find Tiny Tiger, buy it and save money! If not available, Fancy Feast is the next best thing! Both totally fine! 🐱💙

My senior cat (13 years) does great on it! 🧡 I was worried cheap food wouldn’t be good enough for her age, but she’s been eating Tiny Tiger for 8 months with no problems! Her vet says she’s in excellent shape! The pate texture is easy for her older teeth too! Don’t assume expensive = better for seniors! Good quality affordable food works great! 💕✨

One year with Tiny Tiger and SO HAPPY!! 🌟 My cat Lily is healthy, energetic, beautiful coat, perfect weight everything you want! Started using it to save money during a tough financial time and discovered it’s actually GOOD food, not just cheap! My vet has zero concerns about it. I started feeding my cats Tiny Tiger wet cat food from Chewy a few months ago, and honestly, they seem to love it. The pate texture is smooth and easy for them to eat. I really like that it’s grain free and has a decent meat content for the price. It doesn’t have that strong, fishy smell like some other brands, which I appreciate. My cats clean their bowls every time! I’ve tried the beef and poultry variety packs, and both are hits in my household.

My cats go absolutely crazy for Tiny Tiger pate cat food. The texture is soft and moist, and it doesn’t look like cheap filler. I switch between the chicken and turkey flavors to keep things interesting. It’s also pretty affordable, which is great for multi cat homes. I think the Tiny Tiger pate recipe grain free canned cat food is one of the better budget friendly options out there. My cats have shiny coats and no tummy issues since I made the switch.

I gave Tiny Tiger dry cat food a try, and it was just okay. My cats ate it for a few days, but then lost interest. It’s not bad nutritionally, but the kibble felt a little too crunchy for my older cat. I still use it as a backup or to mix with their wet meals. The wet version, though, especially the Tiny Tiger pate recipe, gets a solid thumbs up from me. Maybe the dry line just needs a bit more flavor to stand out.
