ParticipantIs anyone here still using Earthborn Holistic Cat Food? I’ve been feeding my cats the Feline Vantage Dry Food and sometimes the Monterey Medley cans, but lately, they don’t seem as into it. I liked that it’s grain-free and made with decent ingredients, but I’m wondering if the formula has changed or something.
Also, what’s the deal with people saying it’s being discontinued? I’ve had trouble finding some flavors like Chicken Catcciatori in stores lately.
If you’re using Earthborn wet or dry cat food, how’s it going for you? Any issues with quality, recalls, or picky cats? And where are you guys buying it PetSmart, Amazon, or local stores?
Would love to hear some real feedback good, bad, or mixed. Trying to decide if I should stick with Earthborn Holistic or switch to something else.

ParticipantI started feeding my tabby Earthborn Holistic Primitive Feline dry cat food a few months ago, and she’s been doing really well on it! Her coat looks shiny, and she’s finally stopped throwing up after meals. I like that it’s grain free and full of protein, not fillers like some cheaper brands. Before this, I was using Kirkland Signature, which wasn’t bad, but Earthborn feels more premium. Thinking about trying their canned cat food next maybe the Monterey Medley flavor. Has anyone’s cat tried the wet food line yet?

ParticipantYes! My cat adores the Earthborn Holistic wet cat food, especially the Chicken Catcciatori. It smells like real food, not that weird processed scent. I was feeding her Pure Cravings before, but she got bored of it. Switched to Earthborn’s pouches and now she runs to the kitchen every morning. I’ve also tried the dry grain-free version, and she tolerated it really well. Haven’t seen any recalls lately, which gives me peace of mind. Honestly, it’s one of the few brands that doesn’t upset her sensitive stomach.

ParticipantEarthborn Holistic Feline Vantage has been my go-to for my older cats! It’s not grain-free, but the ingredients are wholesome. I used to feed Nature’s Domain and Nutra Nuggets interchangeably, but this brand seems to keep my cats more energetic. I like that it’s made in the USA and focuses on sustainability. The packaging even mentions their “UPC for Trees” program, which is cute. My vet also approved of it for senior cats. Haven’t tried the canned food yet, but I’m curious about Monterey Medley.

ParticipantI switched to Earthborn Holistic after my cat started getting itchy from another dry brand. The Primitive Feline formula did wonders less scratching, better digestion, and her fur feels softer. I pair it with their wet pouches sometimes for hydration. I’ve seen it at PetSmart, but I actually order mine online now since it’s cheaper. I was torn between this and Acana, but Earthborn seems gentler. Definitely not discontinued I just got a fresh batch last week!

ParticipantMy picky eater loves the Earthborn Holistic canned cat food, which is shocking because she usually snubs everything. I alternate between Chicken Catcciatori and Monterey Medley. Both smell like real meat, not artificial gravy. I previously tried Pure Cravings wet food decent, but my cat lost interest fast. Earthborn keeps her licking the bowl clean. I even noticed her eyes are brighter now. It’s a bit pricier, but the quality feels worth it. Haven’t had any recall scares with them either, unlike some other brands.

ParticipantAnyone else find the Earthborn Holistic Primitive Feline a little rich for kittens? I started mixing it with Nutra Nuggets kitten formula just to balance things. My little one loves the taste though. The transition was super easy no upset tummy. I might try the Earthborn wet pouches once she’s older. I also appreciate that it’s made with good meat proteins, not weird by products. For adult cats, I’d say it’s perfect, but for kittens, maybe start slow!

ParticipantI’ve been using Earthborn Holistic dry cat food for my indoor cats for two years now. I rotate between the grain-free and Feline Vantage formulas. Both are great! My cats’ litter box smells less, and their fur sheds less too. I used to feed them Kirkland Signature cat food before switching, and I can clearly see the improvement. I sometimes grab Earthborn from PetSmart, but lately, I’ve found better deals on Amazon. No complaints here definitely one of the best mid-range cat foods.

ParticipantEarthborn Holistic wet food is a hit at my house. The Chicken Catcciatori pouch especially. My senior cat gets bored easily, but this flavor keeps her happy. I used to give her Nature’s Domain canned recipes, but the texture got too mushy. Earthborn’s chunks are just right. I also appreciate the brand’s focus on eco-friendly sourcing. It feels good feeding something both healthy and ethical. My vet said it’s a solid brand for cats with sensitive digestion, too.

ParticipantI tried Earthborn Holistic Primitive Feline after reading good things about it online, and I’m glad I did. My cat’s hairballs are way less frequent now. I had been using Nutra Nuggets before, which was fine, but Earthborn just feels cleaner ingredient-wise. It’s also easy to find near me my local Petco stocks it regularly. I might add the canned version soon for variety. I think it’s underrated compared to the big names like Acana or Orijen.

ParticipantThe Earthborn Holistic Monterey Medley canned cat food is my cats’ absolute favorite. It’s grain-free, full of fish protein, and they can’t get enough of it. I pair it with the Primitive Feline dry kibble for crunch. I did a lot of research after a few brands had recalls, and Earthborn’s record seems spotless. My neighbor still feeds Pure Cravings, but I think Earthborn has more variety and better smell (lol). It’s a little pricey, but worth every cent.

ParticipantI love that Earthborn Holistic cat food lists its ingredients clearly. You can actually recognize what’s inside no mystery “meat meals.” I started with the Chicken Catcciatori pouches, then switched to Feline Vantage dry food for convenience. My cats didn’t have any stomach upset switching between them. I used to buy Kirkland Signature dry cat food, but I prefer the higher protein here. Bonus: the packaging looks cute and eco-friendly too. Definitely keeping this brand in rotation.

ParticipantFor those wondering where to buy Earthborn Holistic, I usually grab mine from PetSmart or Amazon. The wet food pouches are sometimes out of stock though, especially the Monterey Medley. My cats absolutely devour it. I was also worried it might get discontinued (heard that rumor too), but it’s still available. Compared to Pure Cravings or Nutra Nuggets, this brand just feels fresher and more natural. Even my vet commented on how shiny my cat’s fur is now.

ParticipantI tried switching from Acana to Earthborn Holistic recently because my cat’s tummy was getting sensitive. The Primitive Feline dry food has been great so far no vomiting, no diarrhea, and his appetite is back. I also got the Chicken Catcciatori wet pouches to mix in. He loves them! I like that it’s grain free but not too high in fat. Plus, I feel safer knowing it hasn’t had any major recalls like some brands have over the years.

ParticipantMy two rescues are obsessed with Earthborn Holistic Feline Vantage dry cat food. It’s got the perfect kibble size for both of them. One of them used to eat Nutra Nuggets, and the switch was super smooth. The best part is no more hairballs or stinky breath! I combine it with a little wet food like Pure Cravings or the Earthborn pouches for hydration. Highly recommend trying it if your cats need something balanced but affordable.
