ParticipantI recently came across Pure Balance Cat Food while browsing for some affordable options that still seem healthy. I picked up a few cans of Pure Balance Wet Cat Food and some Pure Balance Dry Cat Food to try with my two cats.
So far, they seem to like it especially the salmon and chicken & brown rice flavors. I like that it’s grain-free (at least some of the formulas) and claims to be made with real meat and natural ingredients. It’s also available at Walmart, Chewy, and PetSmart, which is convenient.
I’m curious though has anyone tried the Pure Balance Pro Cat Food for sensitive stomachs or the senior formula? I’ve read mixed reviews online, some say it’s great for picky cats, others aren’t sure if it’s nutritionally complete.
Would love to hear honest thoughts:
- How do your cats react to it?
- Any noticeable changes in coat, energy, or digestion?
- Is the wet food really better than the dry?
Let’s share experiences I’m trying to figure out if this is a brand worth keeping around or just a temporary trial.

ParticipantI started feeding my two indoor cats Pure Balance Wet Cat Food about a month ago. They seem to really like the salmon and chicken & brown rice flavors. I’ve tried Nature’s Domain and Nutra Nuggets before, but they always turned their noses up. The wet food texture is smooth, and they finish every bowl. Their coats are shinier and their digestion seems fine. I bought mine from Walmart and also noticed Pure Balance Cat Food is available on Chewy, which is convenient. Has anyone tried the Pure Balance Pro Senior Cat Food for older cats?

ParticipantMy older kitty has a sensitive stomach, so I gave Pure Balance Pro Cat Food a try. The Pro Plus wet cat food seems gentler than some other brands I’ve used, like Pure Cravings or Kirkland Signature. I noticed he’s eating consistently without throwing up like before. I tried both the chicken & brown rice and the salmon formulas. His coat is looking better, and he’s more active. I also checked the Pure Balance Cat Food ingredients, and it seems healthier than generic supermarket brands. No noticeable digestive issues so far.

ParticipantI tried Pure Balance Dry Cat Food for my two cats, mainly the grain-free options. They’re usually picky with dry food, but they actually eat this one without fuss. I’ve fed them Nature’s Domain before, but sometimes they refuse it. I like that Pure Balance Cat Food claims to use real meat and natural ingredients. Their energy levels seem slightly higher, and their litter box habits are normal. I got mine at PetSmart, but I’ve also seen it on Walmart and Chewy. I’ve read some mixed opinions online, but in my house, it’s working well so far.

ParticipantPure Balance Cat Food has been decent for my indoor cats. I mainly feed the chicken & brown rice wet formula. My cats are finishing bowls, which is a huge change because they usually turn away from other brands like Kirkland Signature or Pure Cravings. I’ve also tried the Pro formula for sensitive stomachs, and it seems gentler. Their coats look shiny, and they’re more playful. I saw some posts online asking if Walmart is discontinuing Pure Balance Cat Food, but I’m still able to find it in-store and on Chewy. Coupons online helped a bit too.

ParticipantI introduced Pure Balance Wet Cat Food to my kittens, starting with the creamy starters and salmon flavors. They love it! I rotate it with Nutra Nuggets and Nature’s Domain to give them variety. I appreciate that the ingredients list is simple and grain-free. Their digestion seems normal, and they’re more energetic. I also looked into the Pure Balance Pro Cat Food for sensitive stomachs might try that next. Buying at PetSmart was convenient, and I also checked Chewy for larger orders. So far, I think Pure Balance Cat Food is a decent budget-friendly option for my cats.

ParticipantMy senior cat has been on Pure Balance Pro Senior Cat Food for a few weeks. I mix in a little Pure Balance Wet Cat Food for variety, mostly the chicken & brown rice flavor. She seems more active, and her coat looks healthier than when I used Kirkland Signature. I like that the Pro formula is supposed to support sensitive stomachs, and she hasn’t had any issues so far. Walmart stocks it, but Chewy and PetSmart also carry it. I also found some Pure Balance Cat Food coupons online, which made the transition a little easier on my wallet.

ParticipantI gave Pure Balance Dry Cat Food a try for my indoor cats, especially the grain-free options. They’re usually picky with dry food, but this one seems fine. I’ve rotated with Nature’s Domain and Pure Cravings in the past. Their energy levels seem higher, and litter box habits are normal. I mainly bought it from Walmart, but I’ve also seen it on Chewy. I was a little concerned if Pure Balance Cat Food is nutritionally complete, but so far, my cats seem healthy. I’m curious if anyone has tried the Pure Balance Pro Cat Food sensitive stomach formula?

ParticipantMy two cats are enjoying Pure Balance Wet Cat Food, especially the chicken & brown rice and salmon flavors. I usually mix in Nutra Nuggets or Nature’s Domain for variety, but they always come back to Pure Balance first. I’ve noticed softer coats and more playful energy. I also tried the Pure Balance Pro Plus wet cat food, and my senior cat seems to tolerate it well. I haven’t seen any recalls, and the ingredients look cleaner than some other budget options. PetSmart, Chewy, and Walmart all carry it, which makes re-stocking easy.

ParticipantPure Balance Cat Food is actually doing well for my sensitive-stomach cat. I started with the Pro Plus wet cat food, then added the dry grain-free formula. She’s eating consistently, and I haven’t noticed vomiting or diarrhea like before. Her coat is glossier, and she seems more energetic. I’ve also used Nature’s Domain and Nutra Nuggets before, but this is easier on her digestion. I bought mine at Chewy, but Walmart and PetSmart also carry it. The only downside is that sometimes the wet food is out of stock online. Coupons help make it more affordable.

ParticipantMy cats really like the Pure Balance Pro Cat Food sensitive stomach formula. I switched after trying Kirkland Signature and noticed more consistent eating habits. I feed both wet and dry, mainly salmon and chicken & brown rice. Their coats are shiny, and digestion seems normal. I also saw that Pure Balance Pro Cat Food is grain-free, which is a plus. Walmart, PetSmart, and Chewy carry it, and I found a few coupons online that help with cost. I haven’t noticed any recalls, and my cats seem happy, so I think it’s a good value for the price.
