ParticipantI’ve been testing different Blue Buffalo cat treats, including the Bursts, Kitty Cravings, and Wilderness crunchy and soft-moist options. My cats seem to like the flavor variety especially the chicken and seafood recipes and the texture works well for picky eaters.
I also checked the ingredients, reviews, and recall history. Everything looks okay so far, and the treats didn’t cause any stomach issues here. The crunchy ones are great for light snacking, while the Bursts have that creamy center that most cats get excited about.
Blue Buffalo treats are easy to find at PetSmart, Chewy, and local pet shops, and the pricing is pretty reasonable for grain-free options. Overall, they seem like a good everyday treat if your cat enjoys softer or crunchy bite-sized snacks.

ParticipantI’ve tried so many treats over the years, but Blue Buffalo cat treats seem to be the ones my picky trio actually agrees on. The Bursts treats with that soft center disappear fast, especially the chicken flavor. I still keep an eye on things like the blue buffalo bursts cat treats recall topic, but so far everything looks fine. I mix these with their usual Kirkland Signature dry food, and it balances things out. I love that the blue buffalo cat treats ingredients list isn’t too long, and the cats haven’t had any tummy issues after snacking.

ParticipantMy senior cat absolutely loses her mind for blue buffalo wilderness cat treats, especially the grainfree softmoist ones. I use them when she takes her meds, and it actually works. I used to give her Pure Cravings crunchy bites, but lately she prefers the Blue Buffalo Kitty Cravings crunchy cat treats because the texture is easier on her teeth. I did wonder, “are blue buffalo cat treats safe for older cats?” but my vet didn’t see any issue. Just keeping portions light. I rotate with Nature’s Domain canned food to keep her meals interesting.

ParticipantI started with blue buffalo salmon cat treats just to try something different, and wow—my cats acted like I opened a can of tuna right in front of them. They go wild. I give them along with Nutra Nuggets dry cat food, and there’s been no stomach upset. If anything, their coats are shinier. I still keep checking blue buffalo cat treats recall news just in case, but nothing concerning popped up. The Bursts crunchy & creamy treats are also a hit, especially the seafood version. These are perfect little rewards during play sessions.

ParticipantAnyone else have a cat that pretends they’re dying unless they get blue buffalo crunchy cat treats first thing in the morning? Mine has trained ME at this point. I like the blue buffalo cat treats grain free crunchy option since it pairs well with the Pure Cravings chicken filets I feed at night. I worry sometimes because I saw people online talk about blue buffalo cat treats cause diarrhea, but mine haven’t had issues. I stick to smaller servings though. The Kitty Yums savory salmon treats are our “special occasion” snacks.

ParticipantThe blue buffalo wilderness grain free cat treats were a surprising win here. My cats usually ignore crunchy snacks, but these? They act like I’m handing out gold nuggets. I still give them Nature’s Domain wet food as their main meal, so these treats are more of a fun bonus. I also appreciate that the blue buffalo cat treat ingredients sourcing info seems transparent enough. The chicken & duck recipe from the Wilderness line smells strong, but honestly, that’s probably why my cats love it. No weird reactions, which is always my biggest concern.

ParticipantHas anyone tried the blue buffalo bursts liver & beef cat treats? My cats absolutely inhale them. I mix a couple inside puzzle toys and it keeps them entertained for ages. They’re also big fans of the blue buffalo kitty cravings crunchy cat treats chicken recipe. I rotate these with Pure Cravings tuna snacks because my cats love variety. I checked if blue buffalo treats good for cats with sensitive stomachs and got mixed answers, but personally my two haven’t had any issues. Their usual meals are Kirkland Signature wet food so that might help.

ParticipantMy shy rescue cat actually comes out of hiding for the blue buffalo bursts pawlickin’ chicken cat treats. That alone makes them worth it for me. I give them sparingly since she also eats Nutra Nuggets dry food, and I like keeping her snack calories reasonable. I do keep tabs on blue buffalo cat treats ingredients list to make sure there’s nothing new added. The creamy center in the Bursts snacks is definitely what hooks her. I’ve tried switching to other brands, but nothing beats these for bonding time.

ParticipantThe seafood Bursts treats blue buffalo bursts savory seafood cat treats—are the only treats my cat will eat during summer. I guess the smell is stronger? Either way, she LOVES them. I pair her meals with Nature’s Domain salmon wet food, so the flavor combo probably works for her. I’ve seen people discuss blue buffalo cat treats safe or not, but my kitty hasn’t had any digestive problems. She actually seems more playful after snack time. I just make sure not to overfeed, especially since she also gets some Blue Buffalo soft cat treats occasionally.

ParticipantI feel like Blue Buffalo really nailed it with those Kitty Yums softmoist cat treats. They remind me of tiny little chewy squares, and my cats prefer those over crunchy ones most days. I still buy the blue buffalo wilderness chicken formula crunchy grain free cat treats for variety though. I try balancing everything with Pure Cravings sardine fillets or Nature’s Domain turkey dinners. So far, no stomach issues at all. The blue buffalo cat treats fiber content seems low enough not to mess with their digestion, which is a relief since one of mine is sensitive.

ParticipantThe blue buffalo bursts crunchy cat treats chicken 12oz tub is a lifesaver for multicat households. It lasts a while, and each of my cats likes them for different reasons. One loves the crunchy outside, the other likes the creamy filling. I give these in between meals of Kirkland Signature dry food, and it seems to keep them satisfied. I did read about blue buffalo cat treats ingredients sourcing because I’m careful about where things come from. So far things look okay. These treats work great for training sessions too.

ParticipantI used to think my cat didn’t like beefflavored snacks, until I randomly grabbed blue buffalo bursts with pawlicken chicken cat treats AND the beef ones. Turns out she likes both. The chicken is still her favorite though. I give her Nutra Nuggets chicken dry food, so maybe she’s just a poultry girl. I’m careful with portions because I saw people mention blue buffalo cat treats calories being a bit high for indoor cats. But in moderation, they’ve been perfect. No tummy troubles, and she stays super affectionate after treat time.

ParticipantI recently tried the blue buffalo blue wilderness chicken & salmon cat treats and WOW—my cats acted like they were getting a gourmet feast. I love using these when introducing new wet food, like Pure Cravings or Nature’s Domain. It makes transitions smoother since they’re already excited. I also doublechecked are blue buffalo cat treats healthy, and as long as they’re not overfed, they seem fine. The crunchy texture is great for cats who prefer a little resistance when they chew. Mine beg for these every evening like it’s a ritual.

ParticipantThe blue buffalo kitty cravings with real tuna crunchy cat treats have been amazing for my picky eater. She usually refuses anything fishy unless it’s extremely freshsmelling, but these she devours instantly. I feed her mostly Kirkland Signature canned food, so having a crunchy fish treat inbetween feels like a good balance. I saw someone ask “blue buffalo cat treats cause diarrhea?” but we’ve had zero issues. I really like the simple texture and the smell isn’t too overwhelming. These are now my goto bribery snacks during nail trimming sessions!

ParticipantI think the Kitty Yums softmoist treats might be the gentlest option out of everything Blue Buffalo offers. My oldest cat, who struggles with dry textures, does amazing with these. The blue buffalo kitty yums savory salmon cat treats are her favorite. I still give her Nature’s Domain duck wet food, so the flavors mix nicely throughout the day. I check the blue buffalo cat treats ingredients list every time because she’s sensitive to fillers, but so far they seem okay. She hasn’t had any itchy reactions or stomach problems.
