I’ve been reading about Nature’s Menu which is apparently UK-based brand focusing on raw and natural feeding options. The concept of raw feeding appeals to me but I’m in the US and availability seems extremely limited or nonexistent here.

My cat has been on premium kibble but I keep hearing about raw feeding benefits and Nature’s Menu looks like quality brand for that approach. However, being UK-only makes me wonder if it’s even worth researching since international availability seems impossible or prohibitively expensive.

Is Nature’s Menu legitimate quality raw/natural brand or just UK boutique brand with limited reach? Does anyone outside UK have access or experience with this brand at all?

Anyone actually feeding Nature’s Menu regularly, especially in UK? Does your cat genuinely thrive on raw/natural format and is the brand quality worth seeking out if somehow accessible? Need real experiences particularly regarding availability and whether it’s worth the effort for non-UK residents.

I’m in UK and have been feeding Nature’s Menu raw options for about eight months. The raw feeding approach has genuinely transformed my cat’s health – coat is incredibly shiny, digestion perfect with tiny firm stools, energy exceptional. The frozen raw format requires freezer space and planning but quality is outstanding. Costs roughly £2.80-3.20 per day which is premium but results justify it completely. For UK residents wanting raw feeding, Nature’s Menu provides accessible quality option. Unfortunately completely unavailable outside UK as far as I know – raw food shipping internationally isn’t practical at all.

I’m in US and looked extensively into Nature’s Menu but they don’t ship internationally at all. The UK-only availability makes it completely inaccessible for American cat owners unfortunately. The raw feeding concept appeals but need to find domestic US alternatives like Primal or Stella & Chewy’s instead. International raw food shipping isn’t feasible due to refrigeration requirements and customs regulations.

The UK focus makes complete sense for raw food requiring strict cold chain logistics and quick delivery. International shipping of frozen raw products becomes prohibitively expensive and complicated with customs, refrigeration, regulations. For UK residents this looks like excellent quality option. For everyone else outside UK, need to find local raw food alternatives available domestically in respective countries.

NATURE’S MENU EXPERIENCE – UK CUSTOMER PERSPECTIVE

    My eight-month raw feeding journey:

Months 1-2: Started Nature’s Menu frozen raw chicken nuggets cautiously. Thawed portions in fridge overnight. Started mixing small amounts with current food. My cat showed intense interest in raw meat smell immediately. Transition gradual over four weeks.

Months 3-4: Reached full Nature’s Menu raw by month three. Within weeks her coat developed incredible shine and silkiness. Digestion became perfect – tiny firm stools showing excellent absorption. Energy increased dramatically throughout days.

Months 5-6: Vet checkup showed outstanding body condition and perfect bloodwork. Vet asked about diet because transformation was so visible and remarkable. Raw feeding clearly delivering exceptional results compared to previous kibble.

Months 7-8: Eight months on Nature’s Menu raw now. She’s maintained peak exceptional condition throughout. The frozen raw format delivers nutrition closest to natural feline diet possible commercially.

Monthly cost: Approximately £85-95 per month. Premium pricing but she’s never been healthier in her entire life.

Nature’s Menu specializes in raw and natural feeding options primarily using frozen raw formats preserving nutritional integrity. UK-based company focuses on British-sourced ingredients from ethical farming. Raw feeding provides species-appropriate nutrition closest to natural feline diet – high moisture, unprocessed proteins, natural enzymes intact. For UK residents, represents accessible raw feeding option without preparing raw diets personally. International customers need domestic raw food alternatives as frozen raw shipping internationally isn’t practical due to cold chain requirements, customs regulations, and prohibitive costs. Quality appears excellent for those with UK access based on ingredient sourcing and preparation methods.

    AVAILABILITY REALITY:

    UK Customers:

    Direct purchase available
    Frozen delivery logistics work
    Cold chain manageable locally
    Reasonable delivery costs
    Accessible quality option

    International Customers:

    No direct shipping available
    Import logistics completely impractical
    Frozen transport impossible
    Need domestic alternatives
    Not accessible solution

Bottom line: Outstanding for UK residents, completely unavailable for international customers needing local raw food brands instead.

The frozen raw format requires significant freezer space for bulk storage. Each delivery contains multiple days of frozen food portions. Need adequate freezer capacity and remember to thaw portions in advance for feeding. More meal prep and planning involved than shelf-stable feeding but manageable routine for raw feeding benefits.

For US customers wanting similar raw feeding, domestic alternatives include:

    Primal (frozen raw)
    Stella & Chewy’s (frozen/freeze-dried)
    Northwest Naturals (frozen raw)
    Vital Essentials (freeze-dried)
    Darwin’s (subscription raw)

These provide raw feeding without international shipping impossibility.

The ingredient transparency shows exactly what goes into raw food. Clear information about meat sources, organ content, bone inclusion. For UK customers wanting to know precisely what they’re feeding, Nature’s Menu provides that complete openness and traceability throughout.

The British ingredient sourcing provides transparency about origins for UK customers. Knowing proteins come from UK farms builds confidence in quality and ethical production. Regional sourcing supports local agriculture while ensuring freshness through shorter supply chains domestically.

Environmental considerations include packaging waste from individual portions and delivery emissions. Raw food model requires more packaging and regular frozen deliveries than buying shelf-stable bulk. Trade-off between raw feeding benefits and environmental impact worth considering personally.

The transition to raw feeding requires gradual adjustment period for cats accustomed to processed food. Digestive systems need time adapting to raw proteins and natural format. Proper transition protocol essential for preventing upset during raw feeding introduction regardless of brand quality.
