ParticipantI saw someone say Orijen is like the gold standard of freeze-dried and honestly I get it now. The orijen original freeze dried cat treats smell like actual meat rather than seasoning dust. Even my picky girl who only trusts Nature’s Domain broth-based tins comes running. I tried replacing a few snacks with Kirkland Signature bites and she looked personally insulted. Clearly she has decided luxury is her identity.

ParticipantI bought the orijen cat treat freeze dried original hoping they’d help with food boredom. They did more than thatmy cat now waits at the counter where I store them. I’ve used them to bridge between dry days (Nutra Nuggets) and gravy days (Pure Cravings). Finally found something that doesn’t upset her stomach but still gets her interested enough to try other foods without protest.

ParticipantHad a funny moment: my cat tried to guard the bag of orijen freeze dried original cat treats like it was prey. I’ve never seen her act territorial over food except Kirkland Signature tuna, and even that didn’t get this reaction. I love that they’re clean and don’t create crumbs everywhere. I crumble two pieces over her dinner and it transforms the entire vibe.

ParticipantI’ve tried a lot of treat brands, but orijen original freeze dried cat treats are the first she actively begs for. I even use them to get her to eat Nature’s Domain turkey stew, which she usually ignores halfway. It’s like a food topper and reward at the same time. I don’t mind paying for something that genuinely makes feeding time smoother.

ParticipantI like that the orijen original cat treats don’t smell like artificial smoke or weird fish. When I tried mixing them with Pure Cravings and Nutra Nuggets, the bowl was spotless. That never happens. She even stopped midday begging because the protein seems to keep her fuller. Freeze-dried might really be the answer for cats who want pure meat texture.

ParticipantI was nervous trying orijen original freeze dried cat treats because premium labels sometimes disappoint, but this one delivered. My usually grumpy eater suddenly has enthusiasm again. I paired it with Kirkland Signature dry just to test, and he actually finished without glaring. The nice part is I can break them up without them turning to dust. Plus, no tummy issues like we occasionally had with Nutra Nuggets.
