Seeing Sheba everywhere with those Perfect Portions trays. Convenient single-serving packaging but wondering about actual quality behind the marketing.
Is Sheba decent food or just fancy packaging on mediocre ingredients? Price seems reasonable but not sure if that&#8217;s because quality is compromised.
Anyone feeding Sheba regularly? Do your cats actually stay healthy on it? Real experiences needed.

My local Costco stopped carrying Sheba cat food 48 pack, which is such a pain. Buying those big boxes saved me time and money. I’ve been checking Walmart and Chewy sometimes they have deals. I like alternating between Sheba chicken and Sheba salmon flavors so my cats don’t get bored. Tried Nature’s Variety Instinct for comparison, but my cats prefer Sheba’s smell and softer pate texture. I wish they offered a grain free dry version too, since Sheba dry cat food doesn’t seem to exist.

So I found out Sheba cat food is made by Mars Petcare same company that owns Royal Canin and Iams. That actually gave me some confidence in quality control. My cat has been on Sheba Perfect Portions for over a year, mostly the chicken in gravy. No stomach issues, and her fur is noticeably softer. I did read about some Sheba cat food recalls years ago, but nothing recent. As long as she keeps purring and finishing every meal, I’m sticking with it.
