ParticipantAfter trying Sheba cat food for six months, I’d say it’s great for cats who like softer textures. My cat likes both the pate and cuts in gravy, though I prefer the Perfect Portions packaging for less mess. I did a test switching between Kirkland Signature, Pure Cravings, and Sheba wet cat food Sheba was the clear favorite every time. No stomach issues, clean bowl, happy cat. I just wish they had a recyclable version of those trays!

ParticipantMy senior cat won’t touch dry cat food anymore, so I started giving her Sheba wet food twice a day. The texture is easy for her to eat, especially the pate chicken and tuna. Compared to Royal Canin, it’s way more affordable. Her vet said it’s fine as long as she’s maintaining weight. I just make sure to rotate flavors and keep her hydrated. I think Sheba cat food strikes a nice balance between quality and convenience.

ParticipantDoes anyone know if Sheba cat food has a kitten formula? My 5-month-old eats the Perfect Portions salmon pate, but I’m not sure if it’s fully balanced for kittens. She’s growing fine though playful, shiny coat, no diarrhea. I used to feed Purina One True Instinct kitten food but she stopped liking it. Sheba seems gentler on her stomach. Would love to see them expand into more age specific options.

ParticipantMy picky eater finally approves of something! Sheba cuts in gravy chicken flavor. I’ve tried Nutra Nuggets and Pure Cravings wet food, but she’d just sniff and walk away. With Sheba, she actually runs to her bowl. I like that the ingredients list isn’t filled with mystery by products. The gravy keeps her hydrated too. I buy mine from Chewy or Target depending on discounts. For the price, Sheba wet cat food is a win in my book.

ParticipantI saw someone on Reddit saying Sheba cat food caused allergies, but my two cats haven’t had any issues. They’ve been eating Sheba chicken pate for months. It’s a nice, simple formula not overly fancy like Instinct Ultimate Protein but it works. I do supplement with some freeze-dried raw treats for variety. Overall, I’d say Sheba is a solid mid-range option, especially if you’re on a budget but still want decent ingredients.

ParticipantThe Sheba Perfect Portions pate cat food trays are perfect for my kitten. She’s so tiny that one tray is just enough. I tried Instinct limited ingredient turkey once, but she didn’t like it. Sheba’s texture is softer and smells fresher. The salmon variety seems to make her fur glow. I don’t think Sheba makes any dry food, but honestly, I prefer sticking to wet better for hydration. I wish they had more variety packs with rabbit or duck flavors like Nature’s Variety Instinct.

ParticipantI like Sheba canned cat food for my two indoor cats, mostly because it keeps them hydrated. They never drink enough water, and the gravy style helps a lot. I used to feed Kirkland Nature’s Domain dry food, but now I mix that with Sheba wet cat food for balance. Both cats have shiny coats and no tummy problems. I read Sheba cat food reviews saying it’s not premium enough, but for a mid-range brand, it’s consistent and my cats genuinely love it.

ParticipantI’ve tried every Sheba wet cat food flavor they sell at PetSmart. My cat’s top picks: tuna, whitefish, and salmon. She’s not big on the chicken ones though. The texture is super smooth way better than some chunky brands like Friskies or 9Lives. It’s great for picky cats or seniors with dental issues. The Perfect Portions packs do make feeding easier, but they’re more expensive than buying bulk cans like Nutra Nuggets. Still, for convenience, I can’t complain.

ParticipantSo I found out Sheba cat food is made by Mars Petcare same company that owns Royal Canin and Iams. That actually gave me some confidence in quality control. My cat has been on Sheba Perfect Portions for over a year, mostly the chicken in gravy. No stomach issues, and her fur is noticeably softer. I did read about some Sheba cat food recalls years ago, but nothing recent. As long as she keeps purring and finishing every meal, I’m sticking with it.

ParticipantMy local Costco stopped carrying Sheba cat food 48 pack, which is such a pain. Buying those big boxes saved me time and money. I’ve been checking Walmart and Chewy sometimes they have deals. I like alternating between Sheba chicken and Sheba salmon flavors so my cats don’t get bored. Tried Nature’s Variety Instinct for comparison, but my cats prefer Sheba’s smell and softer pate texture. I wish they offered a grain free dry version too, since Sheba dry cat food doesn’t seem to exist.
