ParticipantI recently started feeding my cats Smalls cat food, and I’m curious to hear what others think. I tried their fresh ground bird meals and some of the small kibble dry cat food. So far, my cats really seem to enjoy it especially the bird and chicken flavors. Clean bowls every time! 😻
I’ve read that Smalls cat food is made with fresh ingredients and is higher in protein than most small batch cat foods. I’m wondering about long-term effects though has anyone noticed changes in their cats’ energy, digestion, or coat after switching?
Would love to hear reviews of Smalls cat food both wet and dry, good or bad. Thinking about making it the main diet for my cats, but I’d love to know if it’s really worth it compared to other brands.

ParticipantI think you might be confusing this with Smalls cat food which is the fresh food delivery service. Haven’t heard of brand specifically called “Small” without the ‘s’. Could be regional brand with limited distribution or you might mean Smalls fresh food. Can you clarify where you saw this brand name?

ParticipantNever encountered brand called simply “Small” in my pet food research. Are you sure it’s not Smalls (with s) which is the refrigerated fresh delivery brand? Or possibly small bag size of different brand? The name seems incomplete or possibly misread.

ParticipantCould be extremely regional or local brand with virtually no presence. Or might be typo/autocorrect changing Smalls to Small. Without more context about where you saw this, hard to provide useful information. Can you share packaging photo or where you encountered this name?

ParticipantCLARIFICATION NEEDED
Without clear information about what “Small” cat food actually is, difficult to provide
meaningful experience. Possibilities:Option 1: You mean Smalls fresh cat food (delivery service)
Option 2: Very obscure regional brand called Small
Option 3: Misread or typo of different brand name
Option 4: Small batch brand with minimal distributionNeed more details to provide helpful response about actual product.

ParticipantIf referring to extremely small or obscure brand, general caution applies. Brands with virtually no online presence, reviews, or information create uncertainty about quality standards, manufacturing practices, and ingredient sourcing. Prefer brands with verifiable track records and available customer feedback for making informed decisions about cat’s nutrition.

Look for reviews10/28/2025 at 9:09 am #2024CatSnackTime
ParticipantThe lack of any information about “Small” brand suggests either extreme obscurity or name confusion. Legitimate brands typically have some online presence even if minimal. Complete absence of information is unusual and concerning for making informed purchasing decisions.

ParticipantSearched extensively online and cannot find brand specifically called “Small” cat food. Results only show Smalls (with s) fresh food service and references to small bag sizes of various brands. Fairly confident this is name confusion or autocorrect issue rather than actual distinct brand.

ParticipantIf this is genuine obscure brand you encountered locally, extreme caution warranted. Feeding cat food from unknown source without verified quality standards, ingredient transparency, or manufacturing information poses unnecessary risks. Stick with brands having verifiable information and standards.

ParticipantThe complete lack of information suggests this likely isn’t established legitimate brand. Either name confusion, extremely limited regional product, or potentially questionable source. For cat’s health, prefer brands with transparent information and verifiable quality.

ParticipantI’ve been feeding my two cats the Smalls fresh ground bird cat food for about three months now, and they’ve never licked their bowls cleaner. 😻 The small kibble dry food is also a hit, especially for my older cat who prefers smaller bites. I rotate in some Kirkland Signature dry food on occasion just to save money, but honestly Smalls seems higher protein and fresher. Their energy levels are through the roof, and I noticed their coats are shinier too. I was worried about digestion, but so far, zero stomach upset. Totally worth trying.
