My picky eater actually likes Solid Gold Five Oceans canned cat food! That’s saying something because he usually snubs everything except Sheba Perfect Portions. I started with the tuna and pumpkin flavor, and now he waits by the fridge every morning. The ingredients look solid literally no by-products, just fish, broth, and veggies. I used to use Kirkland Signature wet food to save money, but this feels higher quality. I’ve noticed less hair shedding, too, which is a huge win.

Solid Gold cat food has been a hit in our house. I alternate between Indigo Moon and Fit as a Fiddle (their weight control formula) since one of my cats needs fewer calories. The kibble size is perfect, not too hard. I tried adding the Solid Gold bone broth cat food topper, and wow, both my cats licked the bowls clean. I like that this brand includes probiotics not many do. It’s definitely one of the better dry cat food options I’ve found at Petco.

I recently found Solid Gold wet cat food at my local PetSmart, and it’s become my go to. The Five Oceans blend has such good variety tuna, mackerel, and shrimp options. My cats prefer it to Nutra Nuggets canned food, which they used to tolerate at best. I love that Solid Gold focuses on holistic nutrition. My cats’ breath even smells better now! The only downside is that it can be out of stock sometimes, so I buy a few cans in bulk when I can.

I like that Solid Gold cat food offers both wet and dry varieties that complement each other. I feed my cat the Indigo Moon dry kibble in the morning and a Five Oceans wet pouch at night. It’s been great for her coat so silky now! I used to feed Nature’s Variety Instinct, but the price kept climbing. Solid Gold feels more affordable while still premium. I wish they made smaller trial packs though, since some flavors (like sardine) aren’t her favorite.

Is Solid Gold cat food actually good? I’d say yes. I’ve been using the Indigo Moon grain-free formula for two years. My cat’s digestion improved a lot compared to when I fed Kirkland Signature dry food. The ingredients are clean, and I like that they add probiotics and omega oils. I mix a spoon of Solid Gold canned tuna wet food with the kibble sometimes she goes nuts for it. No allergies or hairballs so far. Definitely staying with this brand.

I picked up Solid Gold Five Oceans cat food on a whim because of the cute packaging, but now it’s a staple in my pantry. My tabby absolutely loves the chicken and coconut oil version. The wet food smells fresh not overly fishy. I’ve noticed better hydration too. Before, she was eating Pure Cravings salmon, which she liked, but Solid Gold just feels cleaner ingredient-wise. I also like that the brand’s been around for decades; it gives me some trust in their quality.

Anyone else tried Solid Gold Fit as a Fiddle for weight management? My chunky boy, Milo, needed to slim down, and this food helped a ton. The lower calorie count actually worked he’s down 1.5 pounds in two months! I pair it with a little Solid Gold wet food in the evening. I used to feed Nutra Nuggets light formula, but he never lost a gram on that. The Solid Gold ingredients seem more balanced. His energy level is up too, which is awesome.

I’ve been alternating between Solid Gold Indigo Moon and Nature’s Domain grain free cat food. My cats like both, but Solid Gold wins on freshness. When I open the bag, it doesn’t have that weird stale smell some kibbles have. I also appreciate that they use chicken meal and not random “meat meals.” The Solid Gold wet cat food line is great for hydration too. I get everything from Petco because they usually have promotions. My vet said it’s a pretty balanced choice.

I tried Solid Gold canned cat food after my cat developed tummy issues on Purina One True Instinct. The switch helped a lot no more vomiting or gas. I think the probiotics in Solid Gold make a real difference. The Five Oceans tuna and pumpkin recipe is her favorite. I even add a bit of Solid Gold bone broth topper when she’s being picky. I wish I’d discovered this brand earlier. The ingredients look like something I’d actually cook myself!

Found Solid Gold wet cat food on sale at Petco and decided to test it out. My cat’s a fan of the Indigo Moon dry food, so I figured why not try the wet version too. He went absolutely wild for the mackerel flavor! The consistency is smooth, and the moisture content is just right. I used to rotate between Pure Cravings and Kirkland Signature, but Solid Gold seems to sit better on his stomach. I think we’ve finally found the one.
