ParticipantI’ve been using Special Kitty dry cat food for a few months now for my outdoor cats, and it’s actually not bad! The outdoor formula seems to give them enough energy, and their coats look okay not dull at all. I used to buy Nature’s Domain, but this one fits my budget better. I wouldn’t say it’s premium, but my cats eat it happily, and that’s what matters most. I sometimes mix in Pure Cravings wet food just to balance their diet a bit.

ParticipantMy cat used to eat Special Kitty canned cat food, and she loved the pate texture. I think the chicken and liver flavors are her favorite. Compared to other low-cost options, it smells fresher than I expected. I’ve read mixed cat food reviews online, but my personal experience has been pretty good. I tried switching to Kirkland Signature wet food once, but she refused to touch it. Honestly, for the price, Special Kitty wet food gets the job done for everyday feeding.

ParticipantI bought the Special Kitty Gourmet cat food when it was on sale, and it was surprisingly decent. My two indoor cats didn’t have any tummy issues, which is a win in my book. The texture is softer than Nutra Nuggets dry food, and they seem to prefer it. I do wish the ingredients were a bit cleaner like Pure Cravings or Nature’s Domain, but overall, it’s solid for budget-conscious cat parents. Just make sure to provide fresh water since it’s a bit salty.

ParticipantWe’ve been feeding Special Kitty wet cat food to our rescue cats at the shelter, and they go crazy for it. Even picky eaters seem to enjoy the seafood flavors. It’s not as high end as brands like Pure Cravings, but it’s a good compromise when feeding many cats. We mix it with Kirkland Signature dry cat food to add variety. Some of our older cats even gained healthy weight after switching to Special Kitty which was a nice surprise!

ParticipantI had my doubts about Special Kitty dry cat food, but it’s actually held up well for my outdoor cats. They stay active and healthy, and it’s affordable enough that I can feed my whole colony without breaking the bank. I’ve compared it to Nutra Nuggets and Nature’s Domain, and honestly, the cats don’t seem to care they just eat whatever’s tasty. The only downside is that the kibble could be a little smaller for my older cats.

ParticipantFor my indoor girl, I tried Special Kitty Naturals cat food, and it’s been great so far. She’s sensitive to artificial ingredients, but this one seems gentler on her stomach. I was surprised because I thought budget brands always had fillers. I still supplement with Pure Cravings wet cat food a few times a week for moisture, but Special Kitty Naturals keeps her coat shiny and soft. Definitely underrated for the price point.

ParticipantI used Special Kitty Outdoor Formula dry cat food last winter when feeding some strays behind my house. They loved it no leftovers, ever. It’s affordable and provides enough calories for active outdoor cats. I compared it with Kirkland Signature Outdoor Cat blend, and honestly, Special Kitty held up surprisingly well. It might not have fancy packaging, but it fills bellies and keeps the cats energetic. For large cat colonies, it’s a great value pick.

ParticipantThe Special Kitty wet cat food is a staple in my household. My cats love the texture and the gravy, especially in the Gourmet line. I alternate between this and Nature’s Domain canned food, depending on sales. To be fair, Nature’s Domain feels a bit more premium, but Special Kitty is way easier on the wallet and still keeps my cats happy. If you’re looking for something affordable that cats actually enjoy, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

ParticipantWe tried Special Kitty Indoor cat food because our older cat was getting chunky, and it really helped maintain her weight. It’s not super high-end like Pure Cravings or Nutra Nuggets, but she eats it without fuss. I noticed her coat improved after a few weeks too. The only thing I wish is that the kibble had more protein and less corn. Still, it’s a reliable, budget-friendly option for everyday feeding.

ParticipantHonestly, I was skeptical about Special Kitty cat food, but it’s grown on me. I feed a mix of the dry indoor formula and the canned pate. My cat likes the combination, and it helps me save money compared to buying all premium brands. I still rotate in some Pure Cravings wet food once a week for extra nutrients. For something you can pick up at Walmart, Special Kitty isn’t bad at all just make sure your cats get enough hydration.
