ParticipantJust popping in to say my cats didn’t love Untamed dry at all. They ate it the first day then ignored it, so I had to mix in Kirkland’s chicken formula to get them interested. But the Untamed wet cat food? Shockingly good. The gravy recipes look almost human-grade. Coat health improved a bit after a month. If you’re wondering how much Untamed costs per month, I spend around $45 for one cat. 4health Untamed is more affordable and decent quality, but not as meaty.

ParticipantI’ve tried both Untamed and 4health Untamed and honestly I think 4health Untamed turkey and lentil is underrated. My long-haired cat handles it better than Taste of the Wild. The Untamed wet food is richer but pricey, so I only order when there’s a discount code. Checked Trustpilot and Reddit before buying, and opinions are all over the place. My guy’s digestion got more stable with Untamed, though I still keep Nature’s Domain dry as a backup because he enjoys the crunch.

ParticipantMy kitten loved the Untamed chicken wet food, but the monthly cost wasn’t sustainable for me. I pay about $80 a month if I stick to their recommended feeding guide. Taste-wise, it’s great. Digestion improved, and she stopped vomiting. But I switched to Pure Cravings paté to save money and she didn’t seem to mind. For dry food, 4health Untamed is more my speed financially. Not raw, though Untamed is cooked, just high in meat.

ParticipantUntamed cat food prices are steep, but I like that the ingredients are simple. My older cat has always been sensitive, and the 4health Untamed wet cat food works well for her. She didn’t respond as nicely to Nutra Nuggets when I tried to switch. As for where to buy Untamed, I only trust their website because Amazon listings sometimes look unofficial. Cost per month for two cats runs close to $100. Pricey, but fewer digestive issues so I’m sticking with it.

ParticipantI wasn’t obsessed with Untamed dry cat food, but the wet formulas were solid. My cats ate every bit of the turkey recipe. Coat got shinier too. But man, the price—way higher than Kirkland Signature or Nature’s Domain. I usually alternate between those and slip in a few trays of Untamed like a treat. As far as where Untamed is made, I read somewhere it’s produced in Europe but packaged differently depending on region, but who knows. No recalls that I’ve heard of yet.

Participant4health Untamed from Tractor Supply has been my budget lifesaver. The canned version feels close to Taste of the Wild’s quality but cheaper. I tried the actual Untamed wet cat food just once using a trial box, and it was definitely richer in texture, but I couldn’t justify the subscription. My cat didn’t seem more energetic or anything, but her digestion stayed smooth. Nutra Nuggets is still my favorite for price vs. value.

ParticipantI wish Untamed wasn’t so expensive because my cat adored it. The gravy recipes especially. I tried buying through Amazon and it was a bit cheaper, but shipping was slower. Using their site subscription lowers the cost a bit, but still higher than Pure Cravings. Coat health improved noticeably though. I’ve been curious how many calories are in Untamed wet food it seems denser than most brands. 4health Untamed dry is what I use now and she does fine on it.

ParticipantI’m always cautious with new brands, but Untamed didn’t cause any stomach upsets for my two boys. Energy levels stayed the same. They preferred the chicken wet food over any of the dry options though. I saw mixed posts on Reddit too but decided to try anyway. Cost of Untamed per month for two cats was almost $120, which is wild. Switched back to Pure Cravings and Nature’s Domain because the budget matters, but Untamed definitely felt higher-quality.

ParticipantMy cat is obsessed with the Untamed turkey wet food. The gravy looks thick and real, not jelly-like. But the dry food wasn’t her favorite unless I mixed a little Kirkland Signature kibble in. I asked their customer service about whether Untamed cat food is raw—they said no, it’s cooked. The label mentions high-meat content which explains the strong smell. It’s pricey though. I get the 4health Untamed turkey bags for daily feeding and save the Untamed trays for “special Sundays.

ParticipantI’ve had pretty good luck with 4health Untamed wet cat food, especially for my senior girl who can’t tolerate many canned foods. Taste of the Wild made her stool soft, but the 4health turkey formula didn’t. I’ve only bought Untamed cat food once when they had a discount code. It felt fancy, like Pure Cravings, but too expensive for long term. I spend around $50 a month on 4health and she’s thriving.
