ParticipantI’ve used both the WholeHearted wet and dry cat food for my two rescues. They both prefer the grain-free wet food, especially the chicken pate. The dry food is okay but they get bored of it fast. I also noticed the weight control formula helps my chunky boy stay in shape without acting hungry all day. Petco’s WholeHearted cat food isn’t perfect, but for the price and quality, it’s a solid mid-tier choice. Better than most grocery store options, in my opinion.

ParticipantHas anyone else tried the WholeHearted urinary support cat food? I got it after my vet said my male cat might develop crystals. The texture’s great, and he actually eats it (which is rare for “health” formulas). After about a month, his urine pH improved, and he hasn’t had any blockages since. I used to feed him Nutra Nuggets but this seems to work better. I pair it with some Pure Cravings wet food for extra hydration. So far, so good!

ParticipantWholeHearted grain-free cat food worked wonders for my senior cat. He used to scratch all the time and lose fur patches. I figured it might be food allergies and decided to try something grain-free. Within a few weeks, his skin cleared up and he’s more active now. The WholeHearted dry food has decent ingredients and smells fresher than most budget brands. I occasionally mix in some of their wet food too. It’s nice that Petco has their own brand that’s actually decent.

ParticipantI saw a WholeHearted cat food review on Reddit and decided to give it a shot. I was skeptical, but I’m actually impressed. My picky eater loves the wet food, especially the tuna recipe. The dry food didn’t go as well she sniffed and walked away. 😂 The wet food is definitely the winner in my house. Also, their new easy digestion line looks interesting; might try that next. It’s great that Petco keeps expanding the WholeHearted range.

ParticipantJust tried the new WholeHearted weight control wet cat food, and my chubby girl LOVES it! She’s been on it for a month, and I can already see she’s slimming down a bit. I appreciate that it’s not full of fillers. Before this, I fed her Nature’s Domain but it was a bit pricey to maintain. WholeHearted feels like a good middle ground quality ingredients without breaking the bank. Definitely sticking with it for now.

ParticipantI’ve been alternating between WholeHearted dry cat food and Kirkland Maintenance Cat Food for a while. Honestly, both are great, but my cat seems to digest WholeHearted better. I also noticed her coat shines more with their grain free chicken formula. I occasionally grab the canned wet food from Petco too, and it smells surprisingly fresh. For a store brand, it beats expectations. I like that WholeHearted lists all ingredients clearly no mystery “meat by-products” like cheaper brands.

ParticipantWholeHearted Easy Digestion Cat Food deserves more hype. My older cat has a sensitive tummy, and this formula actually helped a ton. I feed her the dry food in the morning and the wet version at night. She’s no longer throwing up hairballs or leaving half her meal. I’ve tried Pure Cravings and Nutra Nuggets before, but this one seems gentler. If your cat struggles with digestion, this might be worth a shot. It’s one of Petco’s better cat food options.

ParticipantMy cat wasn’t a fan of most store-brand foods, but she surprised me with how much she liked WholeHearted canned cat food. The wet texture is smooth and not overly mushy. I buy the grain-free chicken and tuna mix. Her energy levels are great, and her litter box doesn’t smell as bad (a big plus!). I’ve read mixed reviews online, but honestly, it’s been working well for us. Affordable, decent ingredients, and available everywhere can’t complain.
