I started using royal canin cat treats renal for my senior cat, and she loves them. I pair them with Pure Cravings chicken or tuna pouches for a tasty snack. Royal canin gastrointestinal cat treats are perfect for my sensitive eater, and the hydrolyzed protein treats are gentle and delicious. The Pill Assist cat treats make giving medication much easier. The dehydrated rabbit treats are a nice, crunchy option for both cats. I feel good knowing they enjoy their treats while supporting kidney, urinary, and digestive health.

Honestly, I went into this expecting my cats to turn their noses up like they do with half the premium brands, but Grandma Mae’s Country Naturals cat food salmon was a hit. Not instant, but they warmed up to it within two days. I bought the canned food too, and it mixes well with dry kibble. I used to rotate between Kirkland Signature and Pure Cravings, but digestion improved more noticeably with Grandma Mae’s. I haven’t seen any negative reactions. The 4 lbs bag is small enough to experiment with if you’re unsure.

My two rescues are obsessed with Earthborn Holistic Feline Vantage dry cat food. It’s got the perfect kibble size for both of them. One of them used to eat Nutra Nuggets, and the switch was super smooth. The best part is no more hairballs or stinky breath! I combine it with a little wet food like Pure Cravings or the Earthborn pouches for hydration. Highly recommend trying it if your cats need something balanced but affordable.

ATTENTION PICKY EATERS!! 🎯 My cat rejected EVERYTHING for years. I’ve wasted hundreds on food she wouldn’t eat. Tiki Cat’s Velvet Mousse line finally won her over. The smooth texture combined with strong fish smell was irresistible to her! She actually gets excited for meals now! If your cat is difficult, try the mousse formulas – different texture might be the key! Changed our lives! 😻💙

The ingredient quality is undeniably superior you can actually see real fish, chicken, or beef in the cans. However, my experience has been mixed. My younger cat (3 yrs) loves it, but my senior cat (16 yrs) with kidney issues couldn’t tolerate the phosphorus levels in some varieties. If your cat has any health conditions, definitely check with your vet first. The BFF line has lower phosphorus options that worked better for my older boy. Also, the gravy versions are much more popular in my household than the aspic ones.
