We tried Minties dental treats because my cat is getting older and her teeth need all the help they can get. She’s on softer foods now, mostly Pure Cravings and Nutra Nuggets cans, so chewing treats is important. She likes the smell more than I expected and actually enjoys biting through them. Her breath is still cat-breath, but not nearly as sharp. The 2.5oz bag lasted about a month because we only give half a treat at a time she’s tiny and doesn’t need a full piece.

I tried IAMS ProActive Health Adult Healthy Digestion Dry Cat Food for my indoor cats, and it’s helped with tummy issues. Compared to Nutra Nuggets and Kirkland dry foods, digestion is smoother and less messy. I sometimes mix a bit of wet food like Pure Cravings to keep meals interesting, and my cats seem happier overall. Their energy is better, and their coats look healthier too. IAMS really seems to focus on overall digestive health, which is great for sensitive cats or those prone to hairballs.
My vet actually recommended Blue Buffalo Sensitive Stomach dry cat food for my senior cat. She was vomiting after meals before, and this formula really helped calm her digestion. I pair it with Blue Buffalo wet cat food occasionally for moisture. The results have been noticeable she’s more active and her fur looks softer. It’s a bit pricey, but compared to Kirkland Signature or Pure Cravings, I’d say the quality feels higher. Definitely one of the better mid-range cat foods out there.
