Healthy Paws raw cat food was my first attempt at raw feeding, and honestly I’m glad I didn’t start with something more complicated. The patties thaw well and don’t smell too intense, which is great because I’m sensitive to odors. My cat Willow had been dealing with flaky skin despite eating pretty good brands like Pure Cravings and Nature’s Domain. After about two weeks on Healthy Paws, the flakes were almost gone. I love how predictable the portions are, though I still keep some Kirkland Signature kibble on hand for emergencies or late-night snacks.

Halo Holistic cat food really helped my overweight cat lose weight gradually. I use the Halo Healthy Weight chicken formula, and he’s down two pounds since spring. The kibble’s smaller and smells mild. I pair it with a bit of wet food from Pure Cravings for variety. I used to give him Kirkland Signature, but it had too many fillers. Halo seems better balanced. The price stings a little, but his energy levels and overall mood improved so much.

I’ve been using Taste of the Wild Lowland Creek Cat Food for my adult cats, and they can’t get enough. The dry food is crunchy but gentle on their teeth, and the protein mix seems higher quality than what I’ve seen in Kirkland or Nutra Nuggets. I occasionally add wet food like Pure Cravings for extra hydration, and digestion has been really smooth. My cats’ coats are shinier, they have more energy, and mealtime is no longer stressful. The flavors are varied enough to keep them interested without switching brands constantly.

I’ve tried so many “natural” cat foods Nutra Nuggets, Nature’s Domain, Pure Cravings but I keep coming back to Purina Beyond. The wet pâté recipes are awesome, especially the grain-free salmon and whitefish blend. My senior cat actually finishes her bowl, which is rare! Her fur feels softer, and she hasn’t thrown up since the switch. I love that it’s simple, with ingredients I can actually pronounce. The price is decent too not cheap, but fair for what you get. Definitely sticking with Beyond Natural for now.
