I bought the Simply Puree cat treats 48 count because two cats equals rapid treat disappearance. They’re gentle on digestion and not overly rich, which I appreciate. I’ve used them as a topper on Nature’s Domain wet food when my older cat acts picky, and she suddenly eats like a kitten again. The Wild Eats Simply Puree cat treats offered more variety, so I might rotate between the two depending on flavor mood. Honestly, lickable treats have never been this consistently accepted.

My picky cat finally eats The Honest Kitchen Prowl dehydrated dry cat food. 😺 Ingredients in The Honest Kitchen cat food are clearly high-quality and human-grade. Soft stools and shiny coat are noticeable improvements over Kirkland Signature. I mix in The Honest Kitchen grain-free variety pack wet cat food occasionally for variety. Petco and Amazon Canada are my go-to sources. Sample packs are perfect for testing flavors. The Honest Kitchen carb content is lower than most kibble, which seems to help my indoor cat maintain a healthy weight and energy level.

I feed my kittens Health Extension grain-free dry cat food, mainly the chicken & brown rice and turkey & salmon recipes. Bowls are always empty! 😺 Ingredients in Health Extension cat food are high-quality and digestible. Hairball issues are reduced, and coats are shiny. I sometimes rotate with Holistic Health Extension wet cat food or Pure Cravings dry cat food. Amazon and Chewy are reliable sources, sometimes with coupons. Price is higher than Kirkland Signature, but the noticeable improvements in digestion, coat, and energy make it worth it. Definitely a premium holistic option for kittens.

Has anyone tried the Lotus raw cat food near me in the frozen section at Petco? I picked up the turkey one last week. My cat loved it, but I’m not sure if I should switch her fully from kibble. I used to buy Nature’s Domain dry, but she started getting bored of it. I’ve read that Lotus frozen raw cat food is better nutritionally because it’s less processed. The downside? It’s expensive and comes in small bags. Still, I might alternate with Pure Cravings wet food.

The Target Exclusive availability means frequent sales and Circle rewards programs apply. Strategic shopping with Target promotions makes premium natural brand more affordable. Worth watching for deals if cost management matters while wanting quality.

    Formula composition:

Protein sources: Turkey, beef, salmon, duck
    Vegetables: Spinach, carrots, pumpkin
    Supplements: Vitamins and minerals added
No grains or fillers: Grain-free formulation

Ingredients themselves are quality. Nothing questionable or low-grade in the formula. The actual food composition isn’t the issue. The extreme pricing relative to similar products is what raises questions.

BLUE BUFFALO VS WELLNESS (popular mid-premium brands):

Both solid choices, here’s my comparison:

    Blue Buffalo wins for:

    LifeSource Bits (unique nutritional approach)
    More widely available everywhere
    Better variety of product lines
    My cats prefer the taste
    Better sales/coupons available

    Wellness wins for:

Slightly higher protein in some formulas
    Simpler ingredient lists
    Better for very sensitive stomachs
Slightly better reputation in holistic community

My verdict: Blue Buffalo for CONVENIENCE and variety. Wellness for SIMPLICITY. Both excellent mid-premium options. Can’t go wrong with either. 💚🐾
