CatMunchies
ParticipantInaba Churu lickable cat treats are a huge hit in my house. I also give Temptations lickable cat treats and Delectables lickable cat treats as occasional rewards. I like to mix them with Kirkland Signature or Pure Cravings wet food to make meals extra enticing. The creamy textures are perfect for cats who prefer something soft, and the variety packs keep them interested. Lickable treats for cats are also great for senior cats or those with sensitive teeth because they’re easy to lap up. Every cat I’ve tried them with seems to love the flavors.

ParticipantMy senior cat loves Performatrin Ultra canned cat food, especially the chicken stew and ocean recipe. Ingredients in Performatrin Ultra cat food seem top quality clean, high protein, minimal carbs. Hairball control is effective; I’ve seen fewer furball episodes. I alternate with Nature’s Domain wet cat food for variety. Chewy is my go-to for Performatrin Ultra cat food online, though Amazon sometimes has deals. Price is higher than grocery brands, but coat health, digestion, and energy improvements make it worth it. Definitely a super premium option I’d recommend for picky or sensitive cats.

ParticipantAfter months of testing brands, American Journey cat food is the winner for me. My picky eater loves both the pâté canned cat food and the grain-free dry chicken recipe. The ingredients feel honest real meat first, no fillers. I used to switch between Pure Cravings and Kirkland, but this one keeps her coat glossy and energy up. I buy from Chewy since it’s cheaper than Petco or Amazon. I’d say it’s one of the best mid-range brands out there without sacrificing quality or taste.
10/29/2025 at 2:42 pm in reply to: My Personal Experience: An Honest Purina Cat Food Review for Cat Parents #2379CatMunchies
ParticipantTen years experience with various Purina products across multiple cats and life stages validates company quality despite corporate size concerns. Different product lines serve appropriate purposes – budget lines keep cats fed during financial hardship, premium Pro Plan delivers veterinary-grade nutrition rivaling any boutique brand. The research investment distinguishes Purina from pure marketing companies. Yes they’re massive Nestle-owned corporation which raises valid ethical concerns for some consumers. However, judging strictly by nutritional results and manufacturing consistency, Purina delivers across their range.
Pro Plan especially provides exceptional value veterinary developed formulations at prices significantly below boutique brands delivering comparable or superior results. Corporate size enables research investment small companies cannot match regardless of marketing claims about premium ingredients. Not saying corporate is always better or that independent companies lack merit. Simply acknowledging that Purina’s resources produce legitimate scientifically-backed nutrition especially in premium lines.
Choose based on your priorities if research and veterinary backing matter most, Purina delivers. If supporting small business matters more, choose independent brands. Both approaches valid depending on individual values and priorities.

ParticipantTHIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED TO HEAR!! 🙏 My cat deserves the best and if Orijen really is that good maybe it’s worth the investment. The high meat content makes sense for carnivores. I’m scared of the price but I’ll try one bag and see. Which formula should I start with Original or Six Fish?? If it works I’ll budget for it. Thanks for the honest review. 😊✨

ParticipantDARWIN’S IS INCREDIBLE!! 🙌 We’ve been using it for 10 months and my cat has never been healthier! The meals come frozen in individual portions which is SO convenient! Just thaw and serve! My boy’s coat is insanely shiny, his teeth are cleaner (raw bones!), his breath doesn’t smell, and he has amazing energy.
The chicken recipe is his favorite! Yes it’s expensive ($6-8 per day for one cat) but the quality is unmatched! Real raw meat with organs and bones exactly what cats should eat! Plus they deliver right to your door on schedule! No more pet store trips! Worth every penny for his health! 💚✨
