I’ve been giving my cats inaba churu cat treats, and they’re obsessed. The tuna and chicken puree varieties are their favorites, and the creamy tubes are perfect for training or rewards. I sprinkle some over Kirkland Signature or Pure Cravings wet food, and they gobble it instantly. The bisque and pops are fun for variety. Inaba churu cat treats are portion-controlled and safe, and even my finicky cats enjoy them. I love how versatile they are for bonding, travel, or daily snacks. These treats have become a staple in our routine.

Tender & True cat food is perfect for my senior cat. He loves the organic chicken & liver dry food and wet whitefish. I was worried about phosphorus for kidney health, but it seems reasonable compared to other mainstream brands. I also checked Tender & True cat food reviews online lots of happy cats! Sprouts had a good selection, and Amazon subscription keeps me stocked. Compared to Nature’s Domain and Nutra Nuggets, the ingredients feel more organic and wholesome. It’s pricier, but seeing my cats enjoy their meals makes it worth it.

I tried Wild Harvest grain free cat food because someone recommended it as a good backup food. It honestly surprised me. Not as oily as Kirkland Signature, and my cat didn’t seem to have trouble digesting it. I found it while looking for where to buy Wild Harvest cat food in Minnesota and ended up grabbing a few bags before leaving. No recall issues as far as I know. The wet food is a different story — my cat loves the turkey but hates the salmon. Can’t win them all!

My indoor cats love American Natural Premium canned cat food (grain-free). Ingredients in American Natural Premium cat food are digestible and high-quality. Digestion is smoother, hairballs are reduced, and coats look shinier. I rotate with American Natural Premium original recipe dry cat food or Pure Cravings for crunch. Amazon, Chewy, and PetSmart are convenient sources. Price is higher than Kirkland Signature, but energy, coat, and digestion improvements make it worth it. Holistic and premium, it seems like a reliable long-term option.

I noticed the same thing the Whole Earth Farms cat food website is basically gone. No product listings or updates. That usually means it’s discontinued. My cat loved the grain-free salmon dry food. I tried switching her to Kirkland Signature cat food, but she’s not eating as eagerly. If anyone finds an official statement or a new supplier still selling it, please share. I’d even consider bulk ordering if I can find it somewhere online.

For feral colony caretakers managing dozens of cats on zero budget, Meow Mix allows feeding many animals on donation pennies. Not ideal but TNR colonies need fed and resources are nonexistent. Keeps community cats from complete starvation. Serves pragmatic purpose in poverty-level animal welfare work.

    Formula variety available:

Indoor Advantage: Lower calorie for less active cats
    Sensitive Systems: Easier digestion focus
    Healthy Kitten: Growth stage nutrition
    Senior 7+: Older cat formulation
Tender Selects: Real meat pieces blend

Adequate selection covering life stages and common needs. Not overwhelming but handles typical requirements. I use Indoor Advantage primarily with occasional Tender Selects for variety.

For people concerned about antibiotic use in livestock, Open Farm avoids antibiotics in their animal sourcing. Given rising antibiotic resistance concerns in human medicine, reducing unnecessary antibiotic use in food animals makes sense. Their animals are raised without preventive antibiotics or growth hormones. That level of careful sourcing reduces contributing to broader public health issues while feeding your cat quality protein.
