I picked up Minties cat treats because my girl’s breath was getting a little… intense. She’s picky, so I wasn’t sure she’d go for mint anything, but she actually loved the crunch. I only give one piece after dinner, usually after her Kirkland Signature kibble. The fresh-breath thing kicked in around day five, nothing dramatic but definitely better. The 2.5oz bag lasted about three weeks for one cat. She treats them like a fun snack, not a chore, which is all I wanted. Honestly, I’m just glad she actually chews them instead of swallowing whole.

My cats react differently to treats one loves whiskas treats for cats with beef, another only touches purina whisker lickin’s crunchy and yummy tuna cat treats. The funny thing is they both adore Kirkland Signature wet food equally. I think the texture of whisker lickins soft treats keeps my older one happy because he struggles with chewing. The whiskas temptations dentabites cat treats are great for quick rewards. Haven’t had any issues with recalls personally, though I know people watch labels closely.

I started using Canidae Limited Ingredient cat food because my tabby has allergies. It’s been great no itching or runny eyes since the switch. Before this, I tried Pure Cravings, which was good, but I think Canidae’s single protein recipes (like the salmon one) are gentler. It’s grain-free too, which helps. The kibble is smaller and easier to chew, even for my older cat. I usually top it off with a spoon of their wet food to keep things moist and tasty.

I tried Blue Buffalo True Solutions Natural Adult Wet Cat Food, and it’s been amazing for my adult cats. The soft, flaked texture is perfect for mixing with dry kibble, and my cats actually finish all their meals. I’ve tried Nutra Nuggets and Pure Cravings, but Blue Buffalo seems more palatable and easier on digestion. No upset tummies, and the cats seem more energetic. I rotate flavors from the Tastefuls line, and mealtime is never boring. It’s a brand I’m happy to stick with for long-term feeding.

Tried the Orijen Regional Red cat food recently, and my two cats went crazy for it! It’s rich in red meat proteins, and even my picky eater devoured it instantly. I like that it’s made with whole prey ingredients not just fillers. I read about the Guardian 8 formula too, which supports eight areas of feline health. Thinking of rotating between that and the Fit & Trim version since my older cat is getting chubby. Definitely one of the few dry foods that actually smell like real food.
