My cat is obsessed with royal canin cat treats hydrolyzed protein. I mix them with Kirkland Signature wet food or Pure Cravings tuna pouches, and he gobbles them right up. The royal canin renal cat treats are gentle and tasty for my older cat. The Pill Assist cat treats are perfect for giving medication without stress. Royal Canin treats gastrointestinal and urinary lines feel like they’re designed to cover every need. I even tried the dehydrated rabbit treats as a fun snack, and both cats loved them.

I grabbed Grandma Mae’s Country Naturals cat food after reading about their clean ingredients, and I’ve had a good experience so far. My female cat always reacts badly to foods with fillers, so this was a relief. She took to the grain-free chicken pretty quickly, which honestly surprised me. I used to buy Nature’s Domain, but the formulas changed and her coat got dull. Since switching, her fur feels softer. I pair it with Pure Cravings wet packets sometimes. Haven’t tried the canned food yet, but I’ve heard good things from other cat parents.

For those wondering where to buy Earthborn Holistic, I usually grab mine from PetSmart or Amazon. The wet food pouches are sometimes out of stock though, especially the Monterey Medley. My cats absolutely devour it. I was also worried it might get discontinued (heard that rumor too), but it’s still available. Compared to Pure Cravings or Nutra Nuggets, this brand just feels fresher and more natural. Even my vet commented on how shiny my cat’s fur is now.

The natural ingredient focus from smaller brands often reflects genuine commitment rather than just trendy positioning. Limited online presence makes researching difficult but sometimes quality exists without massive advertising. Interested in trying if I can locate it locally. Supporting smaller natural brands appeals if quality backs up the natural claims.

Honestly? My cat hated it. I bought the variety pack thinking she’d love at least one flavor, but she literally sniffed each can and walked away. Tried the Funky Chunky, Cats in the Kitchen, and BFF lines same reaction to all of them.

I think the texture threw her off because she’s used to pate-style foods. Ended up donating the rest to our local shelter. Just goes to show every cat is different! Don’t buy in bulk until you know your cat will eat it.🥫
