I have one cat who loves Minties and one who treats them like alien objects. The one who likes them crunches them thoroughly, which is good because she tends to swallow treats whole. Her breath improved slightly, especially after her Nutra Nuggets meals. The bag is small, so for two cats, it lasts maybe a week and a half. I don’t overuse them since they’re more for dental support than snacking. But for a daily routine, they’re an easy win if your cat doesn’t mind the mint scent.
The Canidae Indoor Cat Food is perfect for my lazy boys who barely move all day. It’s lower in calories but still keeps them full. Before this, I used Nutra Nuggets, but it made them gain weight fast. This one helped maintain their shape without them begging for snacks every hour. I sometimes add Canidae wet cat food for moisture, and it keeps them satisfied. Their energy levels even improved a little probably from better nutrition.
I feed my indoor senior cat IAMS ProActive Health Senior Plus Cat Food, and it’s made mealtime easier. She chews it well, and digestion has improved compared to Kirkland Signature or Nutra Nuggets. I mix a bit of wet food for moisture, and she finishes meals happily. Her coat looks shinier, and she’s more active in the evenings. Compared to Nature’s Domain or Pure Cravings, this formula seems more tailored to digestion and senior health. I feel confident using IAMS ProActive Health for long-term feeding, especially for older or indoor cats.
Blue Buffalo True Solutions line is what I’ve been using lately specifically the “Fit & Healthy” version. My indoor cats were getting chunky, and after a few months on this, they’ve slimmed down a bit without acting hungry all the time. I love that it’s grain-free but still balanced. The wet food smells better than most supermarket brands too. Between this and Tastefuls, Blue Buffalo has really earned my trust. I’d rate it high for quality, though I wish it was a little cheaper!
