My cats are obsessed with inaba churu cat treats. The lickable purée natural cat treats tuna is their absolute favorite. I’ve used them on top of Kirkland Signature wet food and Pure Cravings toppers, and they lap it up instantly. The creamy tubes and 120-count packs are perfect for daily rewards or just to spoil them a little. My cats get so excited, and it’s great for bonding. I also appreciate that inaba churu cat treats ingredients are simple and seem safe. Even my shy cat comes running when I bring out a tube.

I’ve been feeding my cats Tender and True wet cat food for a few weeks, including turkey & liver and whitefish recipes. They love it! I checked the ingredients and it seems cleaner than some mainstream options. I still keep a small bowl of Kirkland Signature dry food for variety, but they clearly prefer Tender & True. The wet food is easier on their digestion too. I saw a few Tender & True cat food reviews online, and many owners report improved coat and appetite. Availability has been good at Sprouts and Amazon.

I started using Wild Harvest grain free cat food when I was trying to switch my sensitive-stomach kitty off Nutra Nuggets. It’s surprisingly gentle on her digestion. I’d never even heard who makes Wild Harvest brand cat food until someone in a local group mentioned it’s a store line connected to Supervalu. Not sure how accurate that is, though. I buy it at a Minnesota grocery store near my sister’s place when I visit. She feeds exclusively Kirkland Signature, but her cat wouldn’t stop stealing mine’s Wild Harvest turkey pouch. 😂

I recently switched my cats to American Natural Premium cat food, mainly the original recipe dry cat food. My two cats seem to love it bowls are always empty! 😺 I’ve noticed their coats are shinier, and digestion seems smoother than with the Kirkland Signature dry cat food we used before. I sometimes rotate in Nature’s Domain wet cat food for hydration. Amazon and Chewy are my go-to sources, and occasionally there are coupons. Price is higher than Nutra Nuggets, but the health improvements in coat and energy make it feel worth it.

I think Whole Earth Farms cat food discontinued some of their lines quietly. My PetSmart used to stock both the grain-free dry and canned versions, and now there’s just empty shelf space. I emailed Merrick, and they said they’re “re-evaluating the product line.” Not a good sign. My senior cat loved the duck pâté so smooth and easy on her digestion. I tried Nutra Nuggets recently as a replacement, but it’s not quite the same texture or smell she liked.

Blue Buffalo wet food frequently appears in sales at major pet retailers. Combining promotions with store rewards makes premium wet feeding more budget friendly. Strategic shopping timing helps manage cost while maintaining quality standards.

Mixing Instinct Original (without raw boost) with small amount of separate freeze-dried raw creates similar effect at lower cost. If budget is tight, buying standard Instinct and adding your own freeze-dried topper saves money while achieving comparable result. Flexibility for different budget levels.

WELLNESS VS BLUE BUFFALO (similar market position)

    Both occupy comparable market space:

    Wellness advantages:

    Simpler ingredient lists overall
Better reputation in holistic pet community
CORE line has higher protein typically
    Less controversial company history
    Slightly better digestibility reports

    Blue Buffalo advantages:

    LifeSource Bits provide extra nutrients
More widely available in major retailers
Often better sales and coupons available
    More flavor variety across lines
    Stronger brand marketing presence

My take: Wellness for ingredient-conscious buyers who prioritize simplicity. Blue Buffalo for convenience and availability. Both deliver adequate nutrition. Choice often comes down to which formula your individual cat prefers eating and what’s readily accessible in your area.
