ParticipantChuru cat food chowder is my go-to treat for training or bonding. My cat gets excited when I grab the tube, and I usually pair it with dry Kirkland Signature or Pure Cravings for a little variety. The creamy texture is perfect for older cats or picky eaters. I’ve also tried the broth options to mix into their regular kibble, and they clean the bowl every time. Not a full meal replacement, but great for rewards or boosting appetite. Highly recommend Churu for anyone dealing with fussy eaters.

ParticipantI’ve been giving my cats Purina dentalife cat treats for a while now, and they really seem to enjoy them. The tasty chicken flavor is a favorite, and I love that they provide a bit of dental care too. I alternate with Purina whisker lickin’s soft cat treats and Purina Pro Plan crunchy bites, depending on the day. My cats also get Nutra Nuggets dry food for breakfast, so the treats are a fun reward. No stomach issues so far, and the Purina treats are easy to find at Petco, Chewy, and Amazon.

ParticipantI was skeptical too, thinking it might just be cheap bulk food, but the Kirkland cat food actually surprised me. I feed the salmon and sweet potato Nature’s Domain version because my cat has mild allergies. For the price, the ingredient lineup looks cleaner than some “premium” bags I used to pay double for. My vet said if the protein source works and my cat maintains weight and energy, then it’s fine. Mine also gets the Kirkland canned cat food once a day as a treat, usually the pate, and she’s thriving.

ParticipantI tried the Rachael Ray Nutrish Peak Cat Food for my indoor cat, and the results are impressive. Appetite is strong, digestion is smooth, and litter box odor is minimal. Compared to Nutra Nuggets or Kirkland, the quality of ingredients is evident. Coats are shinier, energy levels are better, and hairballs are reduced. Mixing some wet Nutrish with dry keeps meals exciting, and even picky cats seem eager at mealtime. I appreciate the grain-free and premium formulas it feels like a thoughtful, balanced option that’s better than standard grocery foods.

ParticipantEleven months feeding Wholehearted and consistently satisfied with quality and value. My cat maintains excellent health with beautiful coat, perfect digestion, great energy levels. The Petco store brand delivers legitimate quality despite being less known than national brands. Not every premium food needs expensive marketing campaigns if actual formulation is solid.
Wholehearted proves store brands from specialty pet retailers can match or exceed mass-market alternatives. The mid-premium pricing provides accessible quality without budget-breaking cost. Petco exclusivity hasn’t been issue since their stores are reasonably accessible. For shoppers who prefer specialty pet retail and want quality store brand, Wholehearted represents excellent choice.
My cat’s health speaks for itself she’s thriving on formula that costs less than heavily advertised competitors. Sometimes the quiet store brands deliver better value than flashy national marketing. Worth trying if you’re regular Petco shopper seeking quality at reasonable price.

ParticipantIf referring to extremely small or obscure brand, general caution applies. Brands with virtually no online presence, reviews, or information create uncertainty about quality standards, manufacturing practices, and ingredient sourcing. Prefer brands with verifiable track records and available customer feedback for making informed decisions about cat’s nutrition.
