I started feeding my cats Performatrin Ultra ocean recipe canned cat food and the grain-free dry food. Ingredients in Performatrin Ultra cat food seem high-quality, especially compared to Nature’s Domain or Nutra Nuggets. Hairball control and digestion are noticeably improved. I use Chewy for consistent delivery and sometimes get coupons for savings. Pricey, yes, but my cats are eating enthusiastically, coats are shinier, and energy is up. I also like that the limited ingredient formulas give me peace of mind for sensitive stomachs. Definitely feels like a super premium choice.
I had doubts, but the American Journey cat food line has really impressed me. I feed both wet and dry to balance moisture and crunch. The chicken recipe grain free dry food is my go-to, while the pâté canned cat food is perfect for dinner. Compared to Kirkland Signature or Nutra Nuggets, the texture and smell are fresher. My cats’ breath even smells better! I order from Chewy mostly, but I wish PetSmart stocked it too. Haven’t seen any American Journey cat food recall notices either, which is reassuring.
The extensive research facilities and feeding trial programs distinguish Purina from many competitors. They operate actual nutritional research centers conducting long-term feeding studies. That investment in science shows in Pro Plan formulations especially. Corporate resources enable research smaller companies simply cannot afford regardless of marketing claims.
European quality standards. 🇪🇺 Farmina is made in Italy and Serbia with European ingredient sourcing. EU has stricter regulations on pet food than US in many ways. Gives me confidence in quality control. The brand has been around since 1965 in Europe that’s decades of experience. Recently expanded to US market. Not some trendy startup established company with proven track record! 💙✨
ABSOLUTELY YES!! 🙌 Tiki Cat is AMAZING for building muscle and maintaining healthy weight! My boy was underweight after being sick and Tiki Cat helped him gain back healthy muscle mass in just 2 months! The protein content is typically 15-17% which is incredible for wet food!
He loves the Koolina Luau (chicken & egg) flavor best! The chunks of real meat are so satisfying for him to eat. His energy came back, his coat got shiny, and he’s back to his healthy weight! Definitely worth every penny for recovery! 💪✨
