My cats went crazy for Caru Classics wet cat food. I tried the chicken & crab stew grain-free variety first, then the turkey stew grain-free. Compared to Nutra Nuggets or Kirkland Signature, the texture and quality feel much better. I checked Caru cat food reviews and ratings no recalls recently. Portion sizes are perfect, and cats eat enthusiastically. Energy levels are high, coats are shiny, and digestion is smooth. Online ordering is convenient, and Canadian stores carry it too. Definitely a human-grade wet food option I’ll continue feeding regularly.
I was hesitant about Evanger’s Dog & Cat Food at first because of old recall stories, but I’ve been using it for over a year with zero problems. The Organic Turkey & Butternut Squash and the Grain-Free Rabbit options are favorites here. The ingredient list is simple just meat, broth, and vitamins, no weird fillers. I switched from Nature’s Domain and Nutra Nuggets, and the difference was obvious. My cats are more active and have better coats. Definitely worth it in 2025.
Tried Diamond Naturals but couldn’t get past the recall history. Diamond Pet Foods had serious recalls years ago and even though they’ve improved, I just can’t trust them with my cat’s health. Switched to brands without recall baggage for peace of mind even if costs slightly more. Quality might be fine now but history matters when trusting company with pet’s nutrition.
Crave appears in sales at various retailers fairly regularly. Good availability across pet stores and mass retailers. Strategic shopping during promotions improves value further. The competitive pricing becomes even better when catching deals.
