ParticipantMy kitten didn’t love the pedigree dry cat food at first, but when I softened it with a spoonful of Nature’s Domain broth, she changed her mind. Pedigree cat food ingredients are very middle-of-the-road, but if you just need something to keep them eating steadily, it does the job. I’ve noticed the pedigree cat food coupons help big time because feeding three cats isn’t cheap. I do rotate with Pure Cravings so there’s at least some better protein days. Pedigree wins on convenience though.

ParticipantSoJo’s cat food has been great for my kittens. I tried the freeze-dried raw and grain-free freeze-dried recipes, plus the turkey complete cat food. They are loving it! Compared to Pure Cravings and Nutra Nuggets, it feels more nutrient-rich and wholesome. I checked SoJo’s cat food reviews and ingredients, and no recalls came up. Feeding is easy, portion sizes are manageable, and they clean their bowls every time. Online and Canadian store availability is convenient. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try natural and freeze-dried cat food.

ParticipantEvanger’s Wet Cat Food has been fantastic for my picky eater. I alternate between Organic Turkey & Butternut Squash and Organic Chicken. The smell is pleasant not that weird “fish factory” vibe. I was worried after reading about the Evanger’s Cat Food Recall, but that was old news. My vet actually recommended the EVx Urinary Cat Food line for prevention, and it’s been great. I usually order from Chewy, but sometimes I find better prices for Evanger’s Cat Food on Amazon.

ParticipantNutro formulas emphasize natural whole food ingredients with “Feed Clean” philosophy avoiding artificial additives, GMO ingredients, and questionable by-products. Real meat protein sources listed first with whole grains or grain free options available. Mars Petcare ownership provides manufacturing resources and quality control infrastructure. For healthy cats wanting natural ingredients at mid-premium price point between budget and ultra premium, Nutro provides practical middle option. The established brand history and “Feed Clean” commitment appear genuine based on ingredient transparency and formulation quality. Natural positioning backed by actual ingredient selection rather than just marketing claims.

ParticipantThe protein-forward approach makes biological sense for carnivores. Domestic cats need meat-based nutrition similar to wild relatives. Crave’s emphasis on animal protein aligns with natural feline requirements. Been researching affordable high-protein options and Crave appears frequently. Price point is accessible compared to ultra-premium brands. Planning to purchase bag and test it out.

ParticipantSheba frequently appears in grocery store promotions and coupons. Combining sales with manufacturer coupons makes it quite affordable. Strategic shopping during deals improves value considerably. Worth watching for promotions if budget management matters.
