Delectables bisque lickable cat treats are a hit in my house. I also rotate Temptations creamy puree lickable cat treats and Luvsome chicken puree lickable cat treats. I sprinkle a little on Nature’s Domain or Nutra Nuggets wet food, and it’s gone in seconds. The creamy texture is perfect for older cats, and the bisque, stew, and mousse options keep them interested. Lickable cat treats are my goto for training or rewarding good behavior. My cats get so excited they start purring before I even open the packet!

I’ve been feeding my kittens Redford Naturals wet cat food turkey and salmon flavors. Bowls are always empty, and they love it! 😺 Ingredients in Redford Naturals cat food are high-quality and protein-rich. Hairball control has improved, and coats are shinier. I rotate with Nutra Nuggets or Pure Cravings dry food. Amazon and Chewy are my main sources, sometimes with Redford Naturals cat food coupons. Price is higher than Kirkland Signature, but the improvements in digestion, energy, and coat make it worth it. Redford Naturals seems like a reliable premium natural cat food.

I recently fed my indoor cats Blackwood cat food Bounty line canned options. They loved the chicken meal & rice flavor. Ingredients in Blackwood cat food seem clean and digestible. I mix with Pure Cravings wet cat food occasionally. Hairball control has improved since switching. Shopee Malaysia and Amazon have been my main sources. Price is higher than Nutra Nuggets or Kirkland Signature, but the improvement in coat shine, energy, and digestion makes it worth it. I’d recommend Blackwood as a premium alternative to Royal Canin or other supermarket brands.

I started giving Against the Grain wet cat food to my kitten, and she’s growing beautifully! The protein levels seem perfect, and I like that it’s grain-free. She loves both the Chicken & Pumpkin Samba and Mango Tango flavors. I used to feed her Kirkland dry food, but this canned stuff makes a huge difference in hydration and energy. I couldn’t find it in stores, so I buy it online. I checked where is Against the Grain cat food made, and it’s proudly U.S.-made love that.

My cat developed kidney disease on long-term dry food diet. Vet said genetic factors primarily responsible but chronic mild dehydration from kibble possibly contributed. Switched to wet food supporting kidney function better. The moisture content matters more as cats age and kidney function naturally declines.

MERRICK VS AMERICAN JOURNEY (both USA-made comparison)

    Similar positioning as domestic brands:

    Merrick advantages:

    Longer established brand reputation
    More flavor variety available
    Better availability in specialty stores
Backcountry line for high protein needs
    More premium positioning overall

    American Journey advantages:

    Lower price point generally
Exclusive to Chewy with easy ordering
    Good grain-free options
    Solid formulations at better value
    Frequent sales and promotions

My take: Merrick for slightly higher quality and variety. American Journey for better value with comparable nutrition. Both are legitimate USA-made options. Choice depends whether you prioritize established reputation or cost savings.

THE MEAT CONTENT IS INSANE!! 😻 When you open a bag of Orijen it smells like MEAT not like typical cat food. That’s because it’s 85-90% actual animal ingredients. My cat goes CRAZY for it she recognizes quality instinctively. She eats slower and more deliberately, savoring every bite instead of gulping it down. The satisfaction factor is real she’s not constantly begging for food between meals anymore. Her natural hunting instincts seem more satisfied with this carnivore-appropriate diet. 🎉💕
