My cats love Churu meal chowder cat food as a snack or meal topper. I usually pair it with Kirkland Signature dry food or Pure Cravings wet meals for variety. The creamy texture is perfect for picky eaters and easy for older cats to lick. Portioning is easy with the tubes, and the protein content seems high. I also appreciate the broth options, especially when I want to add hydration. Churu isn’t a full meal replacement, but it’s convenient, flavorful, and keeps my cats engaged at mealtime.

My youngest kitty LOVES the Purina whisker lickin’s soft & delicious chicken flavor treats. I sometimes crumble them over Nutra Nuggets dry food so he feels extra pampered. I also rotate in Purina Dentalife cat dental treats for a little oral hygiene boost. The Purina friskies party mix original crunch cat treats are fun too because they have different textures. I’ve checked the Purina cat treats barcode and nutritional info to make sure it’s balanced with their daily diet. Overall, my cats are energetic and healthy, and snack time has become a highlight of the day.

I think it depends which version you get. The chunks in gravy cat food didn’t sit well with my male cat; he threw up twice, so I stopped offering it. But the pate recipe seems gentler on his stomach. The dry food from Costco, especially the salmon one, actually helped his coat stop shedding as much. I wouldn’t say Kirkland is “luxury,” but it’s not trash either. For comparison, Pure Cravings felt slightly fresher, but my wallet definitely felt that difference too. For a daily diet, Kirkland is perfectly acceptable.

Friskies formulas meet minimum AAFCO standards for nutritional adequacy. Purina manufacturing provides established production standards and quality control. While not premium ingredients, formulations provide basic complete nutrition. The massive variety of flavors and textures keeps cats interested in eating. For healthy cats without special needs on tight budgets, Friskies serves functional purpose. Not optimal but sufficient for maintaining cats when affordability is primary concern. Recommend upgrading when financially feasible.
