I’ve tried a lot of treat brands, but orijen original freeze dried cat treats are the first she actively begs for. I even use them to get her to eat Nature’s Domain turkey stew, which she usually ignores halfway. It’s like a food topper and reward at the same time. I don’t mind paying for something that genuinely makes feeding time smoother.

Kasiks wet cat food has been amazing for my kittens. They love the cage-free chicken formula grain-free canned food, and also enjoy turkey and chicken. Compared to Nutra Nuggets or Kirkland Signature, Kasiks feels more natural and premium. I checked Kasiks cat food nutritional info and phosphorus levels everything is fine. Portion sizes are simple, bowls are cleaned every time, energy is high, digestion is smooth, and coats look healthy. Chewy and Canadian stores carry it. Definitely a solid wet food option for picky eaters and kittens.

I introduced Supreme Source Cat Food to my senior cat recently. She’s usually picky, but she loves the salmon grain-free wet formula. I rotate it with Friskies Supreme Supper to give her options. I really like the clean ingredients in Supreme Source Cat Food, unlike some cheaper supermarket brands. Her fur is softer, and her appetite is better. I grabbed mine from Petco, but I’ve also seen it on Amazon. I even found a few Supreme Source coupons online, which helped with the price. No recalls either, which is reassuring.

Tried Hill’s Science Diet after vet recommendation but couldn’t justify premium pricing for outdated ingredients. My cat’s health was fine but comparable to foods costing less with better modern ingredients. The chicken by-product meal and corn at premium pricing felt like paying for legacy brand reputation rather than actual superior nutrition. Newer brands deliver better ingredients at similar or lower costs.

    PRICING CONTEXT:

    Nature’s Feast: $2.40-$2.90 per pound
    Wellness: $2.60-$3.20 per pound
    Natural Balance: $2.80-$3.40 per pound
    Blue Buffalo: $2.50-$3.00 per pound
    Purina Beyond: $2.20-$2.70 per pound

Nature’s Feast prices competitively within mid-premium natural category. Comparable to other natural brands. Not dramatically overpriced for natural positioning. Reasonable cost for natural ingredient focus if quality matches claims.

The long company history provides extensive track record. Hills has been producing Science Diet since 1968 with decades of research investment. That longevity means proven reliability and accumulated nutritional knowledge. Sometimes established boring brands offer more security than exciting new companies.
