Tiki cat treats have quickly become my cats’ favorite. The wet treats and soft treats are perfect for mealtime or snack time. I’ve tried the stix chicken mousse cat treats and the stix tuna mousse cat treats, and both get instant purrs. The tummy topper pumpkin & wheatgrass cat treat is fun sprinkled over Nature’s Domain or Kirkland Signature food. Even the baby mini treats are adorable for quick snacks. I feel confident giving tiki cat treats because they’re mostly grainfree, natural, and flavorful, making treat time exciting and guiltfree.

My cat didn’t love the Evolve dry cat food initially, but she warmed up to it when I mixed it with Pure Cravings wet food. The classic chicken is her favorite. I also tried the maintenance formula, but it seemed too bland for her taste. Nothing wrong with the ingredients though. The Evolve wet cat food cans are great for picky eaters. I’ve never personally run into a recall issue, but I did read about older ones. The biggest downside is finding it near me Petco carries it sometimes, but not consistently.

I love that NutriSource cat food has options for all life stages. My older cat gets the Country Select, while my younger one loves the Ocean Select version. Both have shiny coats now! I found NutriSource near me at PetSmart, and they sometimes offer small coupons. It’s honestly become my go-to after trying so many brands that didn’t work.

Eight years feeding 9 Lives during extended financial hardship and my cat survived – that’s honest assessment. Not thriving, not optimal, not recommended, but alive. His coat looks dull, energy is low, but he’s survived on absolute minimum nutrition when I was literally choosing between feeding us both or surrendering him. 9 Lives allowed keeping him during rock-bottom poverty including homelessness period. Now housed with stable income, immediately upgraded to better food and watched him transform. Health markers improved, coat got shinier, energy increased. The difference is real and visible.

Do not recommend 9 Lives unless genuinely desperate with zero other options. It’s emergency survival nutrition during crisis, not long-term solution. However, acknowledging its existence prevented losing my cat during worst period of my life. For people facing genuine poverty – job loss, medical crisis, homelessness, disability inadequacy having rock-bottom affordable food means difference between keeping pets or surrendering them. No judgment for feeding this when desperate circumstances require it.

Just upgrade as soon as financially possible because your cat deserves better and you’ll see immediate improvement. Sometimes survival is all budget allows but better should be goal when circumstances permit.

Found it at independent pet stores. 🏪 Farmina isn’t sold at big chains like PetSmart/Petco usually they focus on specialty retailers. Check local boutique pet stores or order from Chewy. The specialized distribution means staff at these stores are actually knowledgeable about the brand and can help you choose formulas. I love supporting small businesses anyway. 💙🐱
