Temptations creamy puree lickable cat treats are a huge hit with my cats. I rotate them with Inaba Churu lickable cat treats and Delectables lickable cat treats for variety. A little spoonful over Pure Cravings or Nutra Nuggets wet food makes mealtime exciting and keeps them interested in their food. Lickable treats for cats are perfect for training because the creamy texture is easy to eat quickly. The bisque and stew varieties are perfect for spoiling them a little. My cats get so enthusiastic, they sometimes fight over who gets the first lick!

I recently tried Redford Naturals freeze-dried grain-free duck recipe cat food, and my cats went crazy for it! Ingredients in Redford Naturals cat food are clean and mostly real meat. Hairball control and digestion have improved compared to other dry foods. I rotate with Nature’s Domain or Pure Cravings wet cat food for variety. Chewy and Amazon have been my main sources, sometimes with Redford Naturals cat food coupons. Price is higher than Nutra Nuggets, but my cats’ enthusiasm and overall health improvements make it worth it. Definitely feels like a premium natural cat food.

I tried the Blackwood lean senior cat food for my older cat. She seems to enjoy the taste especially the chicken meal & rice recipe. Ingredients in Blackwood cat food are high-quality, digestible, and low in fillers. Hairball issues have improved, and her coat is shinier. I sometimes mix in Pure Cravings or Nutra Nuggets for variety. Blackwood cat food Malaysia stores are limited, so I mostly order via Amazon or Shopee. Pricey compared to Kirkland Signature or Nature’s Domain, but health improvements make it worth it. Definitely a premium choice for sensitive or older cats.

Tried Against the Grain Mango Tango cat food, and my cat literally purrs while eating it. It’s not that mushy paste like some other brands it actually looks like real food. I switched from Nutra Nuggets wet food, and the difference is crazy. My cat’s coat is softer and glossier. I’ve seen some Against the Grain cat food reviews mention occasional texture changes between cans, but mine have been consistent so far. I get it from Chewy, but I heard Petco also stocks it now.

    DRY VS WET COMPARISON:

    Dry food advantages:

    Much more affordable
    Convenient doesn’t spoil
    Dental benefits from chewing
    Easier feeding management
    Better for free-feeding

    Wet food advantages:

    High moisture content (75-80%)
    Better hydration naturally
    More palatable generally
    Lower carbohydrate usually
    Aligns with feline biology

Practical reality: Quality matters more than format for many cats. Premium dry with good hydration beats cheap wet food. Ideally wet food or mixed feeding best supports cat health.

    PRICING OVERVIEW:

Merrick Purrfect Bistro: $2.60-$3.20 per pound (dry)
Merrick wet food: $1.90-$2.50 per can
    Blue Buffalo: $2.50-$3.00 per pound
    Wellness: $2.60-$3.20 per pound
    American Journey: $2.20-$2.80 per pound

Merrick prices competitively within mid-premium category. Comparable to other domestic brands targeting similar market. Not budget food but not ultra-premium either. The USA manufacturing doesn’t inflate cost excessively compared to competitors. Decent value proposition for quality domestic production.

    Multiple formula options! 📋

Freestyle: Original line, grain-free, high protein
    Freestyle Trim: Weight management formula
MedalSeries: Even higher protein, for active cats
    Limited Ingredient: For sensitivities

I use Freestyle Trim for my chubby cat and MedalSeries for my active young cat. Love that one brand covers different needs. 💙🐱
