ParticipantMy picky girl Hazel didn’t love Raw Paws cat food at first, but after mixing it with Pure Cravings salmon for a few days, she started warming up to it. Now she eats the chicken formula happily, though the beef blend was way too rich for her stomach. Healthy Paws raw cat food is next on my list because several friends say it’s easier for cats who dislike chunky textures. I appreciate that these companies use simple ingredients, especially compared to some of the mixed formulas I’ve seen in Nature’s Domain wet foods.

ParticipantJust wanted to say that Halo’s Spot’s Stew Chicken Cat Food saved my cat’s skin! She had awful dandruff before, and after a month on Halo Holistic dry food, it disappeared. I used to think only expensive brands like Orijen or Nature’s Domain worked, but Halo’s quality surprised me. The ingredients are transparent and no sketchy “chicken meal” stuff. The only downside? My store sometimes runs out, so I keep an extra bag in stock just in case.

ParticipantI switched my indoor cats to Taste of the Wild Dry Cat Food, and they really seem to enjoy it. The kibble is crunchy and flavorful, and even my picky eater finishes meals consistently. I mix in a little Pure Cravings wet food sometimes to add moisture, and digestion has been smooth. Compared to Kirkland Signature and Nutra Nuggets, my cats seem more energetic and their coats are shinier. I especially like the Canyon River formula it has a great mix of proteins, and my cats haven’t gotten bored of it yet.

ParticipantI’ve been giving my two rescues Friskies wet cat food for years, and honestly, they still go crazy when they hear the can open. The texture is soft, the gravy smells decent, and it doesn’t upset their stomachs. I tried switching to fancier brands like Pure Cravings and Nature’s Domain, but they turned their noses up. Friskies seems to be their comfort food! I especially like the Indoor recipes since they’re a bit lighter. For the price, I think it’s one of the best wet cat foods you can find anywhere.
