ParticipantI tried pedigree wet cat food after a month of Nutra Nuggets because my wallet needed a break. The pedigree pouches cat food are so easy to store and open quickly. The texture is chunky and my tabby really liked that. The pedigree wet cat food ingredients aren’t ultra premium, but nothing weird jumped out. I appreciate that it keeps him full without needing extra toppers. Still, I wouldn’t use it for cats with sensitive digestion. For our family, it works as a weekday feeding system.

ParticipantI’ve been rotating SoJo’s cat food freeze-dried natural, grain-free freeze-dried, and turkey complete cat food. My cats are obsessed and eat enthusiastically every meal. Compared to Kirkland Signature or Nature’s Domain, it feels much fresher and higher quality. I checked SoJo’s cat food reviews and ingredients everything is clean and safe. Portioning is easy, digestion is smooth, and coats are shiny. Online availability is great, and Canadian stores carry it. It’s definitely a reliable option for anyone looking to feed natural or freeze-dried cat food regularly.

ParticipantEvanger’s Organic Canned Cat Food really surprised me. I expected it to be bland since it’s all-natural, but my cats gobble it up. The Organic Salmon flavor is a big hit! I used to feed Pure Cravings and Nature’s Domain, but Evanger’s texture and moisture level seem better. I like that Evanger’s Dog & Cat Food Company Inc offers both grain free and low-phosphorus formulas for different needs. I’ve never seen a recall on the organic line, which gives me confidence in their quality.

ParticipantCRAVE EXPERIENCE – March 2025 to August 2025
Testing protein-focused formula:
March (Weeks 1-2): Purchased Crave high-protein chicken. Previously feeding moderate protein brand. Started mixing approximately 25% Crave with current food. My cat Oliver showed good interest in meat-forward smell. Transition began without problems.
March (Weeks 3-4): Increased ratio to roughly half Crave. Digestion remained stable throughout changeover. Stools stayed firm. Appetite continued strong without hesitation. Good signs during transition.
April: Completed full switch to Crave. Within first month, his body felt slightly firmer when petting. Energy levels seemed sustained throughout day. Weight maintained at healthy level. Everything stable overall.
May-June: Second and third months on Crave exclusively. His muscle tone appeared maintained well. Digestion continued working properly. Energy stayed consistently appropriate for his activity level.
July: Fourth month feeding Crave. Vet checkup showed healthy weight and good body condition. Bloodwork came back normal. Vet had no concerns about the protein-focused food choice.
August: Five months on Crave now. He’s maintained steady health throughout period. The high protein formula provides adequate nutrition at accessible price. Quality has been consistent across purchases.
Monthly cost: Around $48-54 for one cat. Mid-range pricing for high protein category.

ParticipantMy picky eater surprisingly accepts Sheba consistently. She’s rejected countless foods over the years but eats Sheba reliably. Something about the flavor or texture appeals to her finicky palate. Finding food difficult cats will eat consistently has value beyond just nutrition.
