Amazon and Chewy are my usual sources, sometimes with coupons. Price is higher than Pure Cravings, but digestion, energy, and coat improvements make it worth it. Definitely a premium holistic option for sensitive or picky cats.
My vet actually recommended Whole Earth Farms years ago because it was balanced for all life stages. I loved that it didn’t have artificial additives. Now that it’s gone, I’ve been trying to find a substitute for Whole Earth Farms wet cat food, but nothing matches the ingredients list. Pure Cravings is close, but I still wish Merrick had given loyal customers a heads-up before discontinuing. My cats are both struggling with the transition to new food.
The recognizable jingle and nostalgic brand creates familiarity that shouldn’t influence nutritional decisions. Marketing nostalgia doesn’t equal food quality. Judge by actual ingredients and results not childhood memories of commercials. Sentimental attachment to brand isn’t valid nutritional reasoning.
