MeowProteinMate
ParticipantVital Essentials rabbit bites freeze-dried cat treats ended up being perfect for my sensitive-stomach girl. No weird stool changes, no fish breath. She usually refuses anything outside Nature’s Domain chicken, but these she accepted gracefully. They crumble a bit, so I sometimes sprinkle them in her bowl. If someone asks are Vital Essentials cat treats good, I’d say yes if your cat likes raw style textures. If your cat likes soft Meow Mix vibes, this will be culture shock. Still, ingredient confidence feels nice for once.

ParticipantI switched my indoor cat to Rawz cat food canned and Rawz dry cat food, and she’s thriving. Bowls are consistently empty, and her coat is softer than when I fed Kirkland or Nutra Nuggets. I use the digestive support version because she’s older, and I’ve noticed improved digestion. Chewy delivers conveniently, but PetSmart occasionally has the Natural Premium Pâté flavors. My cat seems genuinely happier with each meal. Protein content seems higher than typical premium foods, which probably explains the extra energy and shine in her coat. Definitely worth trying.

ParticipantMy cat has been on Instinct Wet Cat Food, including rabbit and chicken flavors. Appetite has improved, digestion is smooth, and litter box odors are better. Coats are glossier, energy is up, and even picky cats finish bowls. Compared to Nutra Nuggets and Pure Cravings, the ingredients feel premium and human-grade. Mixing in raw boost pieces adds excitement and extra protein. Definitely worth trying if your cat needs grain free or high quality wet meals. Mealtime has become more enjoyable, and I feel confident in her overall health.

10/29/2025 at 11:34 am in reply to: Tried Tastefuls Cat Food: A Surprising Review from a Cat Mom #2300MeowProteinMate
ParticipantTastefuls is Blue Buffalo’s value line offering quality ingredients at more accessible pricing. While simpler formulations without LifeSource Bits technology, maintains real meat first and no by-products. The cost reduction comes from simplified recipes and less premium positioning rather than dramatically inferior ingredients. For healthy cats wanting Blue Buffalo quality at lower price, Tastefuls provides that option. Not quite as premium as flagship Blue Buffalo but delivers solid nutrition at better value. Good stepping stone for transitioning to or from premium feeding.
