We introduced Minties dental treats as part of a dental-care plan after the vet recommended more chewing. My cat typically refuses harder textures, but she accepted these faster than expected. Breath improvement is mild but noticeable, especially around her Pure Cravings meals. The bag count is small, so I only give one piece every other day. That actually stretches a 2.5oz bag to almost a month. She doesn’t mind the mintiness at all. For cats that hate toothbrushes, these are a lifesaver or at least a finger-saver.
Honestly, Canidae deserves more love! I’ve tried dozens of brands — Kirkland Signature, Nature’s Domain, Pure Cravings but Canidae has been the most consistent in quality. The ingredients feel cleaner, and both my cats love every variety I’ve tried, especially the grain-free Pure line. Their skin looks healthier, and their coats shine under sunlight. I buy it in bulk from Amazon now since it’s cheaper that way. Totally worth trying if you’re hunting for a reliable, balanced cat food.
Taste of the Wild Dry Cat Food has been amazing for my indoor cats. I mix in wet food for moisture, and they finish every meal eagerly. Compared to Nature’s Domain or Kirkland Signature, the kibble seems more nutrient-dense, and digestion has improved noticeably. Their coats look healthier, and their energy levels are up. I like that the line has multiple formulas, like Prey, Rocky Mountain, and Canyon River, so I can rotate flavors. It keeps mealtime interesting and satisfying for my cats. Overall, it’s been a great switch from previous dry foods.
I gave my cats Blue Buffalo Blissful Belly dry food because one of them had frequent digestive issues. Within two weeks, her litter box habits improved a lot no more soft stools! The kibble size is perfect too. I sometimes mix it with Blue Buffalo canned cat food for variety. I’ve tried Pure Cravings and Nutra Nuggets before, but this worked better for digestion. I think Blue Buffalo does a good job balancing nutrition with real ingredients. Definitely staying on this for a while.
