My cat is obsessed with Churu meal pate cat food. I usually rotate between Nature’s Domain wet food and Kirkland Signature dry food, but Churu gets her excited every time. The creamy texture is easy for older cats, and portioning is simple with the tubes. I also use the broth lines to mix with dry food or top Pure Cravings wet meals. Ingredients are mostly real meat, and the protein content seems high. Not a full meal replacement, but perfect for snacks, treats, or making regular meals more enticing.

I just started giving my cats Purina Pro Plan crunchy bites cat treats during training, and it’s a gamechanger. They also get Purina Dentalife daily oral care cat treats afterward. I pair these with Kirkland Signature kibble and a little Pure Cravings wet food in the evenings. The cats love the texture contrast, and I feel good knowing I’m giving them treats that provide oral care. I even rotate in Purina friskies party mix crunch beachside cat treats to keep snack time exciting. No digestive problems, and the cats remain energetic and playful.

I recently switched my kitten from Nutra Nuggets to Smalls wet cat food, and it’s been a game-changer. The bird and chicken flavors are her favorite. I like that Smalls uses fresh ingredients it feels more like “real food” compared to processed dry kibble. I still mix in Pure Cravings once a week for variety, but she eats Smalls every day without fuss. Her energy and playfulness have noticeably increased. The cost is higher than Kirkland or Nature’s Domain, but I feel like the nutrition is more concentrated, so I’m happy with the investment.

I tried Smalls Cat Food Freeze-Dried for my senior cat, and it’s been great. Digestion is smoother, energy is up, and litter box odors are minimal. Coats are shiny, hairballs are fewer, and picky eaters actually eat all their meals. Mixing a little wet or fresh Smalls makes meals more appealing. Compared to Nutra Nuggets or Kirkland, the quality is obvious, and the small batch, human-grade approach feels thoughtful. I feel confident feeding something natural, high-quality, and balanced, and it’s been a noticeable improvement in overall cat health.

FRISKIES VS FANCY FEAST (Budget Comparison)

    Both affordable mass-market options:

    Friskies advantages:

Larger can sizes (5.5oz vs 3oz)
    Even more affordable per ounce
    Good for very tight budgets
    Massive flavor variety
    Universal availability

    Fancy Feast advantages:

    Slightly better perceived quality
    Perfect portion sizes
    Less waste from smaller cans
    Better ingredient reputation
    More premium positioning

My take: Both provide adequate affordable nutrition. Friskies for maximum affordability and larger portions. Fancy Feast for slightly better quality perception. Either works for healthy cats on budgets.

I’m in US and looked into Untamed but they don’t ship internationally. The UK-only availability makes it inaccessible for American cat owners unfortunately. Seems like quality option for British customers but not practical solution for those outside UK. Would need to find equivalent fresh food services available domestically.
