Royal Canin Pill Assist cat treats make giving meds so easy. My older cat actually enjoys them, and I pair them with her renal or urinary treats. The hydrolyzed protein treats royal canin line are gentle for her sensitive stomach. I mix some dehydrated royal canin cat treats rabbit flavor for occasional variety. Pairing with Kirkland Signature wet food or Pure Cravings pouches makes treat time extra enticing. The gastrointestinal cat treats are perfect for my picky eater. It feels great giving treats that are both tasty and supportive of their health.

I love smaller brands, so I was excited to try Grandma Mae’s Country Naturals cat food ingredients because they looked clean and straightforward. My cat didn’t immediately love it, but after mixing it with Pure Cravings tuna wet food, she finally accepted it. Once she adjusted, she seemed to enjoy it a lot more. Her coat did look slightly shinier after a month, though nothing drastic. The salmon formula was definitely more popular than the chicken. I would recommend starting with the smaller bag if your cat is picky.

For anyone feeding multiple cats, the Earthborn Holistic Primitive Feline dry food is great value. My three cats share a big bag, and it lasts weeks. They all have shiny coats and no upset stomachs. I used to rotate between Nature’s Domain and Pure Cravings, but Earthborn is the only one they all agree on! I like that it’s rich in animal protein and doesn’t have weird fillers. Haven’t noticed any issues at all really solid food.

I AND LOVE AND YOU VS WELLNESS (Natural Comparison)

    Both natural focused brands:

I and Love and You advantages:

    Quirky memorable branding
    Clean simple ingredients
    Good natural formulations
    Supporting smaller brand
    Competitive pricing

    Wellness advantages:

    Much wider availability
    Established brand reputation
    More formula variety overall
    Better known in natural community
    Easier to research quality

My take: Both provide natural formulations at similar prices. Wellness for accessibility and reputation. I and Love and You for supporting smaller natural brand if locally available. Quality comparable between them.

Can we talk about the sustainability aspect? Weruva is one of the few brands that uses pole and line caught fish, which is WAY better for ocean ecosystems than drag netting. They’re also a B-Corp certified company, meaning they meet rigorous standards for environmental and social responsibility.

As someone who cares about both my cat’s health AND the planet, this matters to me. It’s not just about what goes into your cat it’s about the bigger impact of your purchasing decisions.
