I originally bought the Wild Eats Simply Puree cat treats for enrichment because squeeze treats help during grooming. Now they expect them every evening like a ritual. I also tested a small pack of Simply Puree cat treats before committing to the 48 count bulk box, and both delivered great consistency. They blend easily into Pure Cravings wet food and helped when one kitty had an off appetite week. These treats just make life easier when you need a soft, lickable bribe.

I tried The Honest Kitchen grain-free chicken recipe dehydrated cat food for my kittens. Bowls disappear fast! 😻 The ingredients in The Honest Kitchen cat food feel high-quality and human-grade. I mix it with some Holistic Health Extension wet cat food for moisture. My kittens’ coats are shinier, and stools firmer. I’ve ordered from Petco, Amazon, and sometimes Honest Kitchen Australia online. Small sample packs are perfect for trying different flavors. The carb content is much lower than Kirkland Signature or regular dry food, and my kittens seem more energetic and healthier overall.

I tried the Health Extension variety pack grain-free canned cat food, and my cats went crazy for it! 😻 Ingredients in Health Extension cat food are clean and high in protein. Hairball control and digestion seem improved compared to previous brands. I occasionally rotate with Pure Cravings dry cat food for crunch. Chewy and Amazon have been my main sources, sometimes with coupons. Price is higher than Kirkland Signature, but the excitement at meal time, coat shine, and tummy health make it feel worth it. Definitely a solid holistic choice for picky eaters.

My cats love the Lotus oven-baked duck recipe grain-free dry cat food. It smells great (for cat food, anyway), and they seem to digest it well. I rotate between the dry and Lotus wet cat food to keep things interesting. I also appreciate that there hasn’t been any Lotus cat food recall that I could find. For the price, it’s still cheaper than feeding only the premium frozen raw brands. Compared to American Journey or Fromm, Lotus seems to use higher-quality proteins.

MADE BY NACHO VS RACHAEL RAY NUTRISH (Celebrity Comparison)

    Both celebrity-endorsed brands:

    Made By Nacho advantages:

    More premium positioning
    Cleaner ingredient reputation
    Limited ingredient options
    Better natural formulation
    Bobby Flay genuine involvement

    Rachael Ray Nutrish advantages:

    More affordable pricing
    Wider availability everywhere
    Charitable component
    More established brand
    Broader formula variety

My take: Both celebrity brands deliver decent quality. Made By Nacho for premium natural if Target accessible. Nutrish for affordability and availability. Neither is pure celebrity cash-grab – both show legitimate quality commitment.

The aggressive marketing tactics bother me ethically. Using fear based messaging suggesting conventional foods harm pets pressures worried owners into expensive purchases. Quality pet food exists across price ranges. Implying only their premium product keeps cats healthy feels manipulative. Marketing shouldn’t rely on making people feel guilty or frightened about current feeding choices.

THE LIFESOURCE BITS ACTUALLY WORK!! 😻 I was skeptical at first thinking they were just marketing hype. But after 8 months on Blue Buffalo, my cat hasn’t been sick ONCE. She used to get URIs (upper respiratory infections) 2-3 times per year. The immune support from those bits is real. Plus her coat, energy, everything improved. They’re not just filler they serve a purpose. 🎉💕
