The Thrive cat treats chicken 200g Maxitube is a total hit in our house. My cat usually ignores standard dry treats, but these got immediate attention. Perfect for crumbling over meals, training, or just a small snack. Freeze-dried texture makes it interesting, and the grain-free, all-natural ingredients give me peace of mind. Compared to Kirkland Signature or Pure Cravings, these feel more premium and keep her engaged longer. Maxitube keeps everything fresh, and the portion size is perfect for multi-cat households. Definitely a staple now.

Almo Nature holistic antihairball dry cat food actually worked for my long-haired girl. I’ve tried Kirkland Signature and a few other brands, but this one seemed to help the most. I combine it with the HFC tuna cans, and that mix keeps her coat shiny and her digestion smooth. I checked the ingredient lists and liked the simplicity. I appreciate that it’s made in Europe too. I usually buy through Amazon because local stores near me don’t always stock the holistic line.

I saw Triumph wet cat food on clearance at Pet Goods and grabbed a ton of the chicken and liver cans. My cats ate it happily for a few days, then suddenly acted like it was poison 😂. I think Triumph has one of those flavor profiles cats get tired of quickly. Compared to Kirkland Signature or Nutra Nuggets, Triumph smells a bit stronger too. I’ve never found the Triumph 13 oz ocean fish cat food locally only online. Maybe stores stopped stocking the big cans because they weren’t selling enough.

My cats are obsessed with Fromm Game Bird Cat Food, especially the wet variety. I rotate it with Four Star and Gold formulas, and it keeps meal times exciting. Digestion is smoother compared to Nutra Nuggets or Nature’s Domain, and litter box odors are reduced. Portioning is easy, and even my fussy eater finishes everything. The coat looks shinier, and energy levels have improved. I love that it’s a premium, family-owned brand, and it feels healthier than standard grocery store foods. Definitely a solid choice for both indoor and outdoor cats.

ACANA VS ORIJEN (Sister Brand Comparison)

Both from Champion Petfoods, here’s the difference:

    Acana advantages:

MORE affordable ($1+ less per pound)
    Still excellent quality (75% meat)
    Easier on budget long-term
    Great for less active cats
    Outstanding value proposition

    Orijen advantages:

    HIGHEST meat content (85-90%)
    Maximum protein available
    Ultimate if budget unlimited
    Best for very active cats
    Flagship premium formula

My honest take: Both are top tier quality. Orijen is absolute ultimate but Acana is fantastic “almost-Orijen” at better price. I feed Acana and my cat is thriving. Would feed Orijen if money were unlimited but Acana delivers 95% of Orijen quality at 75% of the price.

Tried Nutrish chicken formula and my cat showed declining interest over two weeks. Initial enthusiasm faded quickly until she barely touched it. Something about long-term palatability didn’t hold up despite good first impression. Quality seemed adequate but sustained appeal failed for my particular cat. Celebrity branding made me skeptical anyway.
