I keep a Hartz Delectables squeeze-up variety pack lickable cat treats on hand for multi-cat households. The flavors like bisque tuna & chicken or stew chicken & tuna appeal to both cats. My cats usually eat Kirkland Signature dry and Pure Cravings wet, but they go crazy for these tubes. Texture is smooth, easy to dispense, and makes for a fun snack. Portioning is simple, and I’ve had no digestive problems. They also work wonders for bonding or training. The variety pack keeps things exciting and prevents boredom.

I picked up a bag of 9 lives soft cat treats last week just to see how my younger cat would respond. She usually prefers crunchy snacks, but to my surprise, she gobbled these down immediately. They’re softer than many treats, which helps because she’s missing a premolar. I know some folks talk about 9 lives cat treats poison risks online, but honestly, I think a lot of it gets exaggerated. Mine eat Nutra Nuggets dry food most days, so treats are small bonuses. So far, no weird reactions at all.

I switched my kitten to Natural Balance green pea and salmon cat food dry with Natural Balance canned cat food chicken. Bowls are clean, digestion is stable, and no vomiting so far. Previously, Nutra Nuggets upset her stomach occasionally. Walmart has decent pricing on dry Natural Balance cat food, and Chewy is convenient for subscriptions. The limited ingredient diet seems gentle on sensitive stomachs, and she actually enjoys the taste. Her energy and coat quality are noticeably better. Definitely a step up from regular grocery store cat foods.

My local Costco stopped carrying Sheba cat food 48 pack, which is such a pain. Buying those big boxes saved me time and money. I’ve been checking Walmart and Chewy sometimes they have deals. I like alternating between Sheba chicken and Sheba salmon flavors so my cats don’t get bored. Tried Nature’s Variety Instinct for comparison, but my cats prefer Sheba’s smell and softer pate texture. I wish they offered a grain free dry version too, since Sheba dry cat food doesn’t seem to exist.

I’ve been using Special Kitty dry cat food for a few months now for my outdoor cats, and it’s actually not bad! The outdoor formula seems to give them enough energy, and their coats look okay not dull at all. I used to buy Nature’s Domain, but this one fits my budget better. I wouldn’t say it’s premium, but my cats eat it happily, and that’s what matters most. I sometimes mix in Pure Cravings wet food just to balance their diet a bit.

The Kirkland Signature chicken and rice cat food is my cat’s absolute favorite. 🐱 She eats every last bit and purrs after dinner. I love that it lists chicken as the first ingredient, and the smell is actually pleasant not overly fishy. The kibble stays crunchy even after the bag’s been open a while. Plus, it’s easy on her stomach. I feel like I’m feeding her something healthy without breaking the bank. It’s one of the best value dry foods out there!
