I thought the catnip n chill crunchy cat treats would be another hype product, but honestly they worked for low-energy play days. My cat batted one around before eating it, then chilled right out. No glassy hyper stare or midnight zooms. I still rely on Kirkland Signature for full meals, but this is the guilty-pleasure snack.

I tried the Nature’s Logic feline chicken meal feast dry cat food, and my cats are hooked. I rotate with beef and rabbit canned options. Compared to Nutra Nuggets or Pure Cravings, it feels more balanced and natural. Digestion is smooth, energy is up, and coats are shiny. Portioning is simple, and bowls are always cleaned. Available at PetSmart and online, so stocking up is easy. Definitely a premium, grain-free option for anyone wanting reliable, wholesome nutrition for their cats.

My senior kitty has been eating Merrick Backcountry Wet Cat Food in game bird flavor. I mix in the freeze-dried chicken mixer to make it extra enticing. She usually skips wet food, but these pouches are a hit. Compared to Kirkland Signature or Blue Wilderness, I like that Merrick Backcountry has higher protein and cleaner ingredients. Her coat looks better, energy is up, and digestion seems normal. Chewy and PetSmart carry the pouches, and Walmart has some options too. I’ve seen posts about discontinued flavors, but I haven’t had trouble finding what I need.

My two indoor cats are thriving on Farmina N&D Cat Food, both dry and wet. I rotate codfish and quinoa flavors to keep things exciting, and even picky eaters eat eagerly. Compared to other brands like Nature’s Domain, Kirkland, or Nutra Nuggets, the ingredients are top-notch and feel wholesome. Digestion has improved, and hairballs are down. I’ve noticed more energy and shinier coats. Portioning is simple, and the wet formulas are super convenient for busy days. Definitely a step up from typical grocery store foods.

Temptations are definitely treats, not complete meals. My cat goes absolutely bonkers for them – I call them “kitty crack” because the obsession is real. I use them for training rewards and special occasions only. They’re formulated as treats with higher fat and calories than regular food. Feeding them as main diet would be like humans living on cookies – tasty but not balanced nutrition. That said, the occasional handful as treat is fine. My cat literally hears the bag shake from two rooms away and comes sprinting. The palatability is insane but keep them as treats only.

The complete absence of online reviews or brand information is major red flag for me. Legitimate brands have some presence even if small. Total obscurity suggests either extremely new startup or very regional limited operation. Either scenario carries risks regarding consistency and availability over time.
