Pedigree brand cat food feels like that dependable grocery store choice you grab when you don’t want to overthink ingredients. I’ve used the pedigree cat food can version with Kirkland Signature dry on rotation. My indoor cat prefers softer textures, so the gravy picks get devoured. Price-wise, buy cat food pedigree at affordable price points online and bulk ordering brings it down more. My only note is that it’s not grain-free, so if someone has tummy quirks, tread carefully. Otherwise, good workable pantry staple.

I’ve been feeding my cat Evanger’s Grain-Free Rabbit Canned Dog & Cat Food yes, the multi-species one and it’s been great. It’s super high in protein and doesn’t contain unnecessary additives. Compared to Kirkland Signature, this one feels much purer and closer to raw nutrition. I had some concerns after seeing mentions of an Evanger’s Dog & Cat Food Recall years ago, but none recently. I like that the brand still makes small-batch foods in their own facilities instead of outsourcing.

The ingredient transparency shows whole recognizable food components without mysterious additives or vague terms. Clear information about protein sources, whole grains used, and natural preservation methods. Transparency builds trust compared to brands hiding behind ambiguous ingredient descriptions.

Crave formulas emphasize animal protein with grain-free carbohydrate sources. Protein levels typically reach 40%+ on dry matter basis which suits feline carnivore requirements. The wild-inspired positioning reflects high meat content appropriate for cats. For active cats or those needing protein-rich diet, Crave provides accessible option. The formulations avoid grains while maintaining nutritional balance. Mid-range pricing makes high protein feeding more affordable than ultra-premium brands. Adequate quality for everyday high-protein feeding without extreme cost.

Using Solid Gold Indigo Moon for about ten months and my cat does really well on it. The high protein formula keeps her satisfied and energetic. Digestion has been excellent with firm stools and no upset. Coat developed nice shine within few months of switching. The probiotics seem to help her system – she has less gas than on previous foods. Costs around $3.20 per pound which is premium but quality appears genuine. Her vet checkups consistently show healthy results. The holistic approach seems to work for her overall wellness.
