Tender and True cat food has been great for my picky eater. I tried the dry organic chicken & liver and the turkey & liver wet food. She prefers the wet food but will nibble on the dry too. I’ve checked Tender & True cat food ingredients, and it’s cleaner than Purina One cat food. My older cat has a bit of kidney concern, so I’m watching phosphorus levels, and so far it looks reasonable. I’ve seen Tender & True cat food reviews mentioning improvements in coat and digestion, and I’m seeing the same results.

So I got curious about Wild Harvest when someone posted a Wild Harvest dry cat food picture on Facebook and talked about how affordable it was. My cat doesn’t eat much at once, so I have to keep switching between wet and dry. The Wild Harvest wet cat food works on days she refuses kibble. I also rotate Pure Cravings because she loves anything fishy. I haven’t run into any Wild Harvest cat food recall issues, thank goodness. Honestly, I feel like it’s a decent mid-tier option for people watching their budget.

I feed my indoor cats American Natural Premium original recipe dry cat food, and they love it. Ingredients in American Natural Premium cat food are digestible and protein-rich. Hairballs seem reduced, coats look shinier, and energy is up. I mix in wet options like Nature’s Domain or Nutra Nuggets occasionally. Amazon and Chewy are convenient sources. Price is higher than Kirkland Signature, but the health improvements for coat, digestion, and energy make it worthwhile. Overall, a premium holistic option that seems to live up to its claims.

I still have a few cans of the salmon recipe from Whole Earth Farms left, and I’m rationing them like gold 😂. My cats love the flavor and the soft texture. I’ve tried switching to other brands like Nature’s Domain or Pure Cravings, but the reactions weren’t the same. Whole Earth Farms just seemed “cleaner.” I read somewhere it was made in the USA, and that’s one of the reasons I trusted it. If anyone hears if it’s coming back, please update us!

The affordability makes Meow Mix practical option for people managing very tight budgets or multi cat households. Not everyone can afford premium brands. Having affordable option ensures cats get fed when finances are severely constrained. Better than not being able to keep pets at all. Practical necessity matters even if nutrition isn’t optimal quality.

Using Purina One for over three years now and my cat maintains excellent health on it. Regular vet checkups consistently show good bloodwork and healthy weight. Her coat looks nice, digestion works properly, and she has appropriate energy for her age. The affordability allows me to feed quality food without straining budget. Costs approximately $1.90 per pound which is accessible. Purina’s research backing provides confidence despite lower price than boutique brands. Sometimes established companies with scientific foundations deliver better value than trendy expensive options. My cat thrives on it.

Close to three years feeding various Wellness formulas and we’ve settled into a comfortable routine. Started with Complete Health when my cat was younger and less active. Switched to CORE when I noticed he was putting on weight despite controlled portions – the higher protein helped him lean out naturally. Now he maintains ideal body condition eating CORE without any special measuring or restricting.

His coat quality is good, energy appropriate for his age, and vet checkups consistently come back with no concerns. Wellness isn’t the flashiest brand or most talked about online. They don’t have exotic proteins or revolutionary ingredients. What they offer is reliable mid-premium nutrition that works day after day without drama.

The choice between regular and CORE comes down to your individual cat rather than one being universally superior. Active cats benefit from CORE’s extra protein. Less active or senior cats do fine with Complete Health. Understanding your cat’s needs matters more than automatically choosing the most expensive option. For us, CORE fits perfectly. Quality without gimmicks, reasonable pricing for what you get, and most importantly, results that show up in everyday health.
