PurrTummyBox
ParticipantI tried Thrive chicken liver cat treats, and she immediately went for them. My picky cat usually ignores Nutra Nuggets, but she loves these freeze-dried treats. High-protein and grain-free, perfect for rewarding or sprinkling over Nature’s Domain wet food. The Maxitube packaging keeps them fresh for weeks, which is convenient for busy households. I feel better knowing the ingredients are natural and healthy. Definitely worth the slightly higher price compared to standard treats. I’ll probably rotate shrimp and white fish flavors as well to keep her excited.

ParticipantMy cats LOVE the Almo Nature hqs natural cat canned wet food. I tried switching back to Nature’s Domain briefly, and they immediately protested. The texture seems to really work for them. I also bought the dry cat food once, and while they ate it, the canned stuff is still the favorite. I checked the ingredients, and it honestly looks like real food you could shred yourself. Amazon has the best pricing for me, but I’ve also seen it in Canada when I was traveling.

ParticipantFunny enough, my kitten LOVED the Triumph turkey formula for kittens canned cat food 5.5 oz when nothing else worked not even Nutra Nuggets or Kirkland Signature kitten formula. I don’t know what’s in that specific recipe, but it worked wonders for his appetite. I haven’t tried the dry Triumph cat food yet because I heard the Wild Spirit line has huge kibble pieces, but maybe that was an older bag. Also, YES the Triumph ocean fish formula is impossible to find now. Maybe they’re quietly discontinuing older flavors.

ParticipantI use Fromm Chicken Au Frommage Cat Food for my indoor cats, and they love it. Wet and dry formulas are both palatable, and digestion is smoother than with Kirkland or Pure Cravings. Mixing flavors keeps them interested, and portioning is simple. Their coats are shiny, and hairballs are less frequent. Even picky cats seem excited for meal times. I feel confident feeding something that’s high quality, balanced, and family-owned. Overall, Fromm is a great step up from generic cat foods for both indoor and outdoor cats.

ParticipantVeterinary nutritionist here Acana formulas contain 75% animal ingredients which aligns well with feline carnivore biology. The fresh regional ingredients from Canadian sources undergo minimal processing preserving nutritional value. While not quite the 85-90% meat of Orijen, 75% still far exceeds most brands. Protein levels around 37-40% suit active cats well. The ingredient quality is genuinely premium whole prey ratios including organs and cartilage. For cats without kidney concerns, Acana provides excellent species-appropriate nutrition at more accessible price than Orijen.

ParticipantFor multi-cat households on tight budgets, Fancy Feast makes feeding several cats financially possible. I have four cats and affordable food keeps total costs manageable. All four maintain healthy condition and vet approves. When feeding multiple animals, cost per serving matters enormously for household budget.
