My two are completely different personalities, but both go wild for the creamy lickable cat treats variety pack. I use them as a topper over Nature’s Domain wet because it adds moisture and flavor without upsetting their stomachs. The salmon flavor creamy lickable cat treats seem to win every time. I also like that the grain-free creamy lickable cat treats variety pack doesn’t feel too heavy on additives. It’s like cat glueeveryone comes running as soon as I tear open a tube. Even the dog tries to sneak a lick if I’m not fast.

I recently switched my cats to Vital Essentials cat food, starting with the freeze-dried raw chicken mini nibs and turkey mini patties. My cats are obsessed they clean their bowls immediately. I’ve tried rabbit chubs too, and even the raw fusion line, which adds some variety. Compared to Nature’s Domain and Pure Cravings, it feels more premium and natural. I checked Vital Essentials cat food reviews and ingredients online everything seems solid, and there have been no recall concerns recently. Cats’ coats look shiny, digestion is smooth, and energy levels are up. Definitely a high-quality raw option.

Has anyone tried the Just Food for Cats kidney diet? My older cat switched to it after some renal concerns, and he seems happier than when he was on regular dry food. I also tested a DIY-style meal, and it was surprisingly simple to prepare. I do keep some Kirkland Signature kibble around, but my cats clearly prefer the fresh Just Food for Cats recipes. I’ve read that leaving just dry food out isn’t ideal, and my cats tend to eat less of it anyway. Overall, I feel confident it’s a safer, higher-quality option.

I feed my indoor cats Nom Nom chicken cuisine cat food. They really like it! 😺 Ingredients in Nom Nom cat food are digestible and protein-rich. Digestion is smoother, hairballs are reduced, and coat looks healthier. I rotate Nom Nom Now cat food or Nutra Nuggets for variety. Amazon and Nom Nom’s official Canadian store are convenient sources. Price is higher than Kirkland Signature, but energy, coat, and digestion improvements make it worth it. Definitely a premium, fresh option for indoor or picky cats.

The British ingredient sourcing provides transparency about origins for UK customers. Knowing proteins come from UK farms builds confidence in quality and ethical production. Regional sourcing supports local agriculture while ensuring freshness through shorter supply chains domestically.

FRESHPET VS SMALLS (fresh food comparison)

    Both offer fresh preparation:

    Freshpet advantages:

    Available at regular pet stores
    No subscription required
    More affordable pricing
    Immediate purchase without waiting
    No delivery scheduling needed

    Smalls advantages:

    Home delivery convenience
    Portion-controlled servings
    More human-grade focus
    Better packaging design
    More detailed nutrition info

My view: Freshpet for accessible fresh without subscription. Smalls for delivery convenience at higher cost. Both provide fresh nutrition. Choice depends whether you prefer store shopping or home delivery.

For cats with digestive sensitivities, fresh food’s easier digestibility can help. My cat had chronic soft stools on kibble that improved significantly on Smalls. The minimal processing and high moisture content seem gentler on sensitive systems. Not a guaranteed solution for every digestive issue but worth considering if your cat struggles with conventional foods. Obviously consult vet for serious digestive problems.
