My boy sniffs everything suspiciously, and yet the orijen cat treats original passed the test in one second. It’s kind of insane because he usually only reacts like that to boiled chicken. I tried the orijen original cat treat 1.25oz first just to test before committing. Good call, because he LOVES it. I’ve tried tying it into his Kirkland Signature dry bowl to convince him to finish the kibble, and somehow it worked. Vet suspected the very high protein was stressing her kidneys somewhat. Switched back to moderate protein food and values normalized within month. Quality seems excellent but formula was too intense for her particular system. Some cats handle extreme protein better than others.
