My adult cat doesn’t like most lickable treats, but Simply Puree cat treats finally changed that. The 48 count was a smart buy because we’re definitely going through them quickly. The Wild Eats Simply Puree cat treats added that flavor mix I didn’t know he needed. Sometimes I swirl a bit into Nutra Nuggets for extra aroma, and suddenly mealtime isn’t a chore. Honestly feels like a treat both for him and for me.

I feed my indoor cats The Honest Kitchen Grace dehydrated cat food. 😺 They absolutely love it! Ingredients in The Honest Kitchen cat food are clean, human-grade, and digestible. I rotate with Nutra Nuggets dry food and sometimes Pure Cravings wet cat food. Petco and Honest Kitchen online in Canada are convenient. Carb content is lower than Kirkland Signature, helping with weight and energy. Coats are shinier, hairballs reduced, and digestion smoother. Sample packs are perfect for testing flavors. Overall, it’s a premium dehydrated option my cats actually prefer over typical dry kibble.

I recently tried Holistic Health Extension wet cat food beef and turkey formulas for my indoor cats. Ingredients in Health Extension cat food are clean and digestible. Hairballs are reduced, digestion smoother, and coats are shiny. I mix in Health Extension dry cat food for crunch and variety. Petco and Amazon are convenient sources, sometimes with coupons. Price is higher than Nutra Nuggets, but the health and coat benefits make it feel worth it. Definitely a premium holistic cat food my cats genuinely enjoy.

I’ve been comparing Lotus cat food vs. Kirkland Signature lately, and I think the difference shows in coat health. My cat’s fur has a deeper shine since switching to Lotus canned food. I started with the Just Juicy Venison Stew grain-free recipe. I love that Lotus cat food ingredients are straightforward and wholesome. I order from Chewy since Lotus cat food near me is nonexistent. Definitely pricier than Nutra Nuggets, but I’d say it’s worth it for the visible improvement.

KIRKLAND WET VS DRY FOOD (Same Brand Comparison)

    Both Costco Kirkland products:

    Wet food advantages:

    High moisture content (hydration)
    Very palatable texture
    Excellent value pricing
    Good ingredient quality
    Supports kidney health

    Dry food advantages:

    Even more affordable
    Convenient storage
    Doesn’t spoil quickly
    Good for free-feeding
    Excellent proven quality

My approach: Feed both Kirkland dry available always, Kirkland wet food twice daily. Best combination providing moisture benefits with kibble convenience. Both deliver quality at Costco value pricing.

Limited availability is the main downside. Only found in select independent stores, not available online through major retailers. If you move or your local store stops carrying it, finding replacement supply becomes problematic. Mainstream brands offer convenience of availability everywhere. Something to consider before committing fully to smaller brand.

    Different formulas for different needs:

Indoor Adult: Lower calorie for less active cats
Urinary Care: Promotes healthy bladder function
    Digestive Care: For sensitive stomachs
    Weight Control: Calorie-restricted with fiber
Breed-specific: Various breeds with tailored kibble shapes

The variety is actually useful if your cat has specific issues. I use the Digestive Care for my cat with IBS and it’s helped reduce his symptoms significantly. Having targeted formulas means you’re not just guessing about what might work.

UK QUALITY STANDARDS!! 🇬🇧 European pet food regulations are stricter than US in many ways. What they can label as “natural” is heavily regulated it actually has to BE natural. Applaws is made in Thailand but owned by UK company following European standards.

The transparency about sourcing and ingredients gives me major confidence. No misleading marketing or hidden junk ingredients. What you see on the label is truly what you get in the can. 💪✨
